  1. Link to the in car go pro footage...
  2. Unless racing dial in your reaction time doesn't mean squat, theoretically u could sit on the line for a minute and it wldnt effect your et.
  3. He had just built some big block noisy thing so he was only doing half passes, I let him go and then worried about stalling mine up and getting the launch right.
  4. Wasn't today but Friday took it to the tnt at benaraby and ran a 10.8@131mph with the zf not shifting 4th. Was meant to get kicked for running a 10 as benaraby still run andra rules and due to the track condition but snuck a final run but fugged the launch.
  5. Any news?
  6. Or possibly cam phaser
  7. Decent food?
  8. Thanks guys, gives me a time to chase next Friday night...
  9. Bahahahah nah man won't be racing, as imo while I don't want to put u off I reckon it'll be Fuging busy and ull struggle to get more then 3 runs in, I hope u get more but with the amount of ppl coming from everwere for apsa it's gonna be hecticly antiseptic... Plus keeping the box in good nick for powercruise and it's my birthday so I'm gonna get sh*tfaced, I'll keep an eye out for u though and come over and introduce myself...
  10. Ohk cheers freaky mph was 130 with old tune. Well now I have a time to chase atleast. 10.6 Cheers loosebf
  11. ahhh fug, cheers freaky
  12. Yea I was curious to see what sort of power that f6 was making when it ran that and if it had gone quicker, Yea traction at the strip was good but they had prepped the track and had the gas torch out as well as there was oil down a few cars down before I raced...
  13. on streets or mts, the current setup making 50-60kw more and on streets 2 and 3 at wot arent much use on nt05's but that's to be expected lol... Havent run it on mts as is yet, will be getting mts on friday of powercruise...
  14. I just ran 275 mts but im not so worried about tyres or anything like that just zf and ute, not phased whether its bf or fg. I ran that with 490kw with the zf slipping profusely.
  15. Hahahah cheers freaky, yea I understand that theres that thread up but I was more interested in obviously zf equipped utes. Im planning on chasing the quickest zf ute in Aus. that's the plan anyway. Considering the box I built ran that im hoping with the extra stuff ive done to this one wil help it hold power a little more and even survive for more then 5k lol
  16. See u out there ribby, itll be pretty busy though I reckon...
  17. Just curious as to see whats the quickest time ppl have gone in Zf equipped utes, ba/f preferably but interested in both, as I have gone 10.8@130.
  18. What style gauges are they ribby
  19. Cheers guys, yea see how it goes tomorro when I drop it off the car stands and take it for its maiden voyage with the new setup.

  21. Thanks ratter giving me a bit of hope lol see how I go in an hour or 2
  22. Just to clarify this isn't my doing this is how I received the head after getting it back from a having work done to it, and they have marked and installed them incorrectly. Ralph I know that they were wrong and cld tell straight away comparing the installed cams to the ones I had out of the car. Im just trying to find out if having the cams in the wrong way has caused the valves to have seks with the piston or anything like that. Cheers ms here's to hoping your right.
  23. Make like a turtle wagnman and pull your head in, if I wanted a sh*theap response I would have posted " please post your sh*t heap responses in this thread" but I didn't. Anyway cheers ms
  24. Ok so long story short my cams have gotten mixed up and marked as opposite ie intake as exhaust and vice versa. And the motor has been assembled and I had tried to start it numerous times thinking something else was the drama. I know they are wrong as I have a set of stage 4s sitting out and know the correct location for the stage 4 s and wen compared to the ones installed the cam lobes were different at tdc. What id like to know is could this have caused the valve to hit pistons and what other damage could or would it have done? I'm thinking it shouldbt have but am still not 100% sure as after swapping them it started first go although running extremely rough, but was extremely fuel up obviously from being turned over and having the fuel blown back into the intake manifold. Thanks Dan
