  1. I have put the rear muffler back on, and with the screamer pipe it has no problems flowing for the power. It's quite and attracts no attention at all during normal driving, just the way I like it!
  2. Brad at "Oak Flats Muffler Men" did my dump pipe using my existing X-Force dump as a starting point. He did a great job along with the V-Clamp onto the turbo. As usual, very happy with the quality of their work.
  3. I got my motor re-built, as I didn't blow it up! I didn't know they had a different rocker cover colour option!? I would safely say that your car is going to be an absolute weapon!
  4. Pic of mine.........not the prettiest, but serves a purpose.
  5. I don't plan on running it down the strip until the weather gets colder, then maybe. The guys at C&V say it should run a 10, which would be awesome. Its an auto, at the moment its coping o.k..........but I know it will need a rebuild at some stage. My finances need to recover at the moment! As for its specs, it has a full Process West Race Plenum Kit,Process West Rocker Cover Garnish, Process West Fuel Tube and Billet Fuel Rail. As mentioned before , its running an Atomic long motor, 6boost manifold and a GT4094 turbo with a 60mm external wastegate. Its running an X-Force exhaust......4 inch dump, then 3.5" single to rear muffler. Running a screamer pipe enables me to keep the X-Force system in this configuration, which is excellent for normal driving, as it is nice and quite! However, under full noise its a wee bit LOUD! I would like to rectify this sooner rather than later however. Immediate future mods are a catch can, and to spruce up the engine bay a bit more. Thanks for all your replies and interest. Here are a couple of dyno run videos, sorry about the quality, filmed with my phone. Dyno Run 1 Dyno Run 2
  6. Atomic 698 GT-A Series Long Motor with Race Girdle.
  7. Had my BFXR6T tuned again today at C&V Performance. It had 405.8 rwkws when it was tuned in December last year, restricted by fuel set-up. Since then it has had the Process West Fuel Tube and Process West Billet Fuel Rail with 80lb Injectors fitted. I am happy to say that with these improvements in the fuel system, it achieved 446.8rwkws on Pump Fuel. This is the cars daily driven safe tune. A big thanks goes to Kev and Brett at Process West for their input into this car. Thanks also to C&V Performance for their tuning.
  8. Very funny
  9. Keep the Typhoon Mate, they are a nice car!
  10. I really like the Force 6, but $7,000 can buy a heap of mods!
  11. Another vote here for DVDFab.
  12. Saw the Polar bears at Sea World in QLD, definitely wouldn't want an adult one doing that to my leg!
  13. What a beautiful pair of...........ear rings!
  14. That looks awesome, but if I was to buy one, it would have to be a V8!
  15. Looks like a big job! Best of luck to your mate with the build-up.
  16. Nice cars you got there, best of both worlds!
  17. Car looks nice and neat. Black looks awesome when its clean!
  18. Hahaha , you got me.....good one
  19. Mine was doing the exact same thing as well. I had already checked the tyres and the brakes without finding a problem. Was driving me crazy. It turned out being the wheel weight as you suggested. Thanks heaps for the tip!
  20. The 3.5" X-Force system I have on my car hit its limit at around 350-360 rwkws, using a screamer pipe, it can flow over 400rwkws. So in a nut shell, I doubt it very much if his exhaust would flow enough to handle his cars power outputs with the screamer pipe plumbed back with his current set-up.......but I could be wrong!?
  21. Thanks for your informative reply spiko. (and your replies to *Beep* and mic) Its just that when I was trying to research what sort of power I could hopefully achieve with my car, I couldn't really find clear power readings with a common variable of running 98 Pump fuel. I can appreciate what you say about it depends on your set-up, and how willing you are to stretch your motor. I was told by C&V that I could possibly expect another 30-40 rwkws after I have a better fuel set-up. So that's about right what you said *Beep*. Which brings me to another point, what fuel mods are people running to get these 98 octane pump fuel levels? Any info provided would be appreciated, because as I stated before, my search engine for this forum doesn't work properly?!
  22. I have been reading with interest numerous posts about cars with various power outputs. I know some are using pump fuel for one power figure and race fuel or some other mix for higher power figures. This can be somewhat misleading. What I would like to know, what are the highest power figures one could expect on 98 octane pump fuel bought at your local servo, WITHOUT any additives. If this is already a topic, could someone show me a link, because I am having problems using the search option.
  23. Took my car to C&V performance today and had a tune done on my new set-up. My fuel set-up restricted my tune and power output.(the 30+ degrees temperatures didn't help either) In the beginning of the New Year, a new Process West fuel set-up will be fitted to my car...... then I can get another tune. The car is very strong, and I am happy with the results, considering the circumstances. The car pulled 405.8rwkws @ 19p.s.I. with a safe tune on BP Ultimate Pump fuel. Thanks to Johnno, John, Con and Vic for all their help and expertise.
  24. I have uploaded the install instructions. I will PM you the link. Hope all is o.k!
  25. I have to say that I am used to the sound now, and I really like it. I put the muffler back on it the other day just to re-assure myself that I had done the right thing by taking it off. Even though it is a lot quiter, it really affected performance, it strangles the car! Needless to say, I took it off again, and that's where its staying!
