just had my ba mkii ute tuned and its made 298.9kw atw on 10psi sooo close to 300 im happy with the power and it tips me over 400hp my mods are heavy duty valve springs earls oil feed cold air intake hdi front mount plazmaman front facing plenum 3.5" xforce exhaust a xr8 bonnet hardlid bf typhoon front kit 19s lowerd 2" itll be one of the faster xr6t in NZ and im hoping for more power in the future but internals will need beefing up

welcome mopar666!got the ute back today and verry happy with speedtechs quality work the ute has the punch I was wanting once it comes on boost engine bay looks so diffrent with the plazmaman intake I love it

got it tuned at speedtech motorsport in lower hutt really good bunch of guys.they recomended no higher than 300 for a ba untill the rods etc are strengthend up.its my daily driver so pritty happy with that- for now hahaha

yea im fairly new to this forum but really keen on meeting others especially in the wellington area for cruises etc.I have a 04 ba mkii xr6t 6speed manual ute black with xr8 bonnet and typhoon front bumper just had it tuned at speedtech and its making 299rwkw.these are awesome cars and probably the best value for looks and power

My 2 inch blocks didnt clear my 19s so id recomend 1.5inch mate

I just got 2 inch blocks on my ba and the shock mount hits my 19s but just so im gonna grind bout 5mm so it clears and hope it doesnt get picked up (shouldnt be grinding the weld so should be sweet)

Ive just got myself a shinny new plazmaman intake plenum Was just wanting to know before I take apart my old plenum where all the pipes that plumb into the plenum come from pics would be great Also can I drive my xr6t before I tune?or is it better to get it tuned streight afta istall

Hi im in wellington New Zealand andhave a ba mkii xr6t ute when I got the ute I also got a 2nd hand flat hardlid but it didnt come with any hardware for the tub,eg female half of hinges gas struts and latches for the locks. Is there anyone in aus or nz that could help me even a new hardware set would be ok if cheapish.

yea ford said they could only get me 400 for a gas strut and could only source from aus which isnt much help!may try some other ford dealers in NZ but even if someone in aus has them itd be great!

hi all im in wellington NZ and managed to pick up a free hardlid for my ba xr6t ute its a genuine ford part but im having trouble getting hardware eg hinges gas struts latches etc can anyone help me out on put me onto someone who sells these parts?
