Found some real nice wheels..Lenso D1R's looking at 20x8.5 +32 or +20 (which one?) and 20x10 for the rear with an offset of 32 is that going to fill out the guards nice and sit flush?

Got mine done the same as above..y piece welded on into twin..he reused the flanges at the other end..$150, sounds alright, doesnt crackle or pop, havnt really heard it from outside yet, still sounds nice though

it'll be on a ute so shouldn't be an issue right? Really liking the jap style wheels haven't looked into it too much yet though..doesnt look like theres much available in that size

mm now they look nice! what offset would that be? Got to have a look around see whats available in 20x10 +40..

what would be the best offset to sit flush/just inside the guard on the rear of the utes? Was looking at 20x10's

I went and got a few quotes NRMA came back the best..$1500..2011 FG XR6T SVP ute,20 years old with 1 incident in last 5 years..excess is $1700 though..$800 basic $400 age and $500 special excess for me because of my history. RACQ wanted $1800 with a $2000 excess.

all good mate, yep under fluro light it looks incredible..originally wanted black but fell in love when I saw this on a new GT..have to say though it does look better on the GT than on the XRs..something to do with the racoon eyes and new 5 spokes

Thanks mate, mine is also a 6sp man..apparently there were delays with ECOLPI and if my car happens to be behind that in the build queue then we have to wait..they can't pull it out and deliver. Can't wait to get behind the wheel!

Hey fellas..ordered a new XR6T ute at the start of last month was told a 6-8 week wait but that was changed to just 2 and a half..was built and ready to be transported 20th last month but it still hasn't left Melbourne apparently. Has anybody else had delays with their new Falcon or is it just me? I don't really care too much as it's still just under the 6 week period I was told by the dealer originally, it's just a pain when you're told that it's suppose to arrive each week for the last 3 weeks.

50th anniversary was last year..go back and ask about the XR6T SVP (free luxury pack) there were only limited numbers of these too..I placed my order at the start of the month.

Thanks for the info fellas, ended up putting a deposit down on one in Vanish, should be ready by late October..as above it's basically just the turbo with a luxury pack for $36k d/a great value, about $11k in savings

Finance didn't come to the party for the full amount but before I could sort out the shortfall or an alternative arrangement they got a second contract on it and sold it..gave me a good deal on another ute FG T for 24k but kms were too high and wasn't what I wanted. So still on the look out for a T with lux pack

hi fellas..just signed my life away on an 08 FG XR6T ute 6 speed manual, 76000km MAY build, must be one of the first ever produced? Has the luxury pack but no hard lid..this thing is an absolute rocketship in comparison to my old AU 4.0, it's been a few hours and I still can't wipe the stupid grin off my face! I've got a few questions though, since it's such an early build, what are some issues I should look for? the car comes with a 12 month dealer warranty so hopefully with your insight I can work out any bugs and get em fixed. Hope this place is friendlier than AFF
