  5. My '10 FG does the lurching clunk when coming to a stop. I took it to ford and they said they couldn't replicate it but I didn't have much petrol for testing so I'll have to take it back.
  6. You guys are going to get sick of my questions! Car was in at Ford as the icc forgets where it was and will change randomly when the car has been turned off. It doesn't do it all the time. Ford said they carried out reinstall of ACM as recommended by summitomo and reinstalled icc with IDS new module installation. Quoted from service page. This to me says, and I asked, that the computer was reset. If the computer is reset wouldn't the system forget all my settings? Equalizer, radio stations, light settings, average fuel consumption etc....
  7. I have the FG XR6T so I don't think it would be different just because you have a ute. But hey, I'm just a girl so cars isn't really my think. I don't mind the drivers one, just the passenger one drives me insane, with the kids in the car I always dump a baby bag or hand bag on the seat and it beeps like mad. If it's just me in the car I usually have the music loud enough to cover the beep. It's in at ford today and I've asked them to look at that, the ICC and a clunk when braking. The last few times I've put something on the seat and moved it off the beeping hasn't stopped. The ICC changes. I'll stop the car listening to track 4 CD 2 and A/C on 25 (it's cold in the morning). Get back in after a daycare drop and it's track 10 CD 5 A/C 21! WTH! Fiance said it needs a reflash??? Maybe that will fix the seats too.
  8. As the title says... Is there a way to disable the seat belt sensor in an FG, the sensor goes off even with my small hand bag on there and when I take it off it doesn't stop!
  9. Thanks Dillz. I was worried, I had it in there the first time and they said they couldn't find anything. Then I took them for a drive and showed them and he said it's normal. It goes in on Wednesday because the ICC keep resetting itself and there is a clunk occasionally when I break.
  10. My partner said it sounds like diff whine. I thought it sounded like diff whine too but apparently its the tranmission and it's normal for the 6 speed auto
  11. Fail at spelling. Using phone. Ford told me it's. Sorry. Not merits
  12. There's a loud whine coming from under my car when I accelerate heavily. Ford told merits the transmission and that it's normal. Does anyone else have this?
  13. I'll get the floor screws out over the weekend and have a look in bunnings for those velcro strips. Even with the clips out the mats haven't been to bad so far but I've made note to stick my heels into the carpet and drag it back under the seat every time I get in the car.
