I had a few issues with mine going into limp mode last year. Mine was due to blocked filter and filthy trans fluid. Can you hear any other noises like a whine or whir in D driving normal? or holding gears longer than usual or flaring when in P mode? If I were you id be dropping the pan, replacing with steel pan, new fluid and a trans cooler. This should help you from fhkin your heat exchange and enjoying an expensive ZF milk shake.

Hey Veva, yeah bough it of nige, good to keep the car in the family he bought it off my brother before that lol. Credit goes to him lol, hes built the majority of it, need to take him for a spin in it, pulls that much harder with the new dump and re-tune. You know him through the site or work?

I was having big drama's with my box nigh on 7 months ago, 117k's on the clock. All the drama's going into limp mode etc etc...took it to my trans specialist in the gong...up on the hoist. Popped the plug on the side, out rushed about 100ml's of dirty oil, resembled thick black dirty diesel oil. Steel pan conversion, new filter, new oils and PWR transcooler installed along with CV tune. Could not be happier. Shifts firm and fast everytime. Cost close to $1100 for everything, would like to know the clown who beleived the box doesnt need to be serviced. Il definatly be dropping the pan and changing the filter and oil every 30000k's. Awesome write up Dillz, wish it was up in june, would have saved me alot of ringing around and heartache

Took the car to Con & Vik, reason why it wasnt coming up on boost was due to the blocked cat. Once the water hit it it shrunk to within a bee's dick. No damage to the turbo, and none to the head or bottom end. So 4 inch Cat and a re-tune and she is even better than what she was before, made a healthy 365kw on the dyno(filthy hot day 30 degrees plus), and safe to say ive been driving very 'Spiritive' lately. Couldnt be happier with the result, comes on boost hard at 3500 RPM, if it was gonna throw a rod I think it would have done it by now(touch wood), also got the box tuned whilst I was there, bit put off at first, but now I wouldnt have it any other way. Shifts are firm and precise every time. Ended up costing my mate close to 3k but was peanuts compaired to what I first told him. Poor bloke, two weeks after this incident he hit a kangaroo just out side of canberra at 100 clicks in his old mans new VE SS, he was just about to buy a BF Typhoon aswell, after his horror month with cars he settled for a run about excel.
