hi guys, my computer is showing 18.7L/100km @23km/hr average speed. coz I mainly drive around city I was just wondering is this the normal case for a stock ba xr6t? I have had spark plugs and ox sensor and fuel pump whole kit changed at last service....

it only do about 300kms a tank. probably even less than that. I did reset the dash reading(with disconnecting battery) after last sevice like 2 month ago, still reading around18.5L/100kms. What do you suggest mate? cheers

thx mate. my computer shows 22km/h. coz I mainly drive around city. that's sound about right?? and how to reset the ECU? do you mean unplug the battery for 30 min?? cheers

hi guys, im totally new in xr6t sence. I used to have a skyline. just jump to xr6t a few month ago... pls help me out. I think there are some problems with my ba xr6t which lead its comsumption is quite high.... I bought it these year July. its run like 23L/100kms at that time. absolute rediculous. The car was all standard, and im driving it very gently, no heavy foot at all. then I get it serviced, chaged oil, air filter and spark plugs. and run on computer showed everything was fine, but the gearbox. Anyway, the fuel comsuption was better, 18L/100kms. then I went to a gearbox specialist and they took it for a test drive and told me these was nothing wrong with the gearbox. coz its grives totally fine, nothing abnormal. it sit around 2000rpm at 100km/hr when cruise on high way, is this info. helpful to see if the gearbox is all right? I really dont know what to do now .... 18L/100kms, is this the way a xr6t should be?? can anyone give me some suggeation??? thx a lot !!

hi mate, I think you might have the same problem as I had. im also drive my xr6t mainly around city no highway. I just drive normally, no heavy foot. but my computer reading is 18.6L/100km. I dont know whats wrong. and last time I dropped it for service, I was told something wrong with my gearbox ..... they told me something like the last gear cant lock up or what, anyway I dont know much about gear box. anyway, I think I might have a gearbox check sometime. it shouldnt drink so much fuel ...
