since iv had the car iv had a whine through the AUX I hear that's normal but it does it overbearing when I have the AC on just on highway speeds, maybe the alternator is going they are pretty cheap f a bosch one. you can test the alternator when the cars running with a multimeter maybe get someone to flick on the accesories while your checking it to see whats happening

Iv checked over the site a few times looking for people with the same issues but I'm having no luck. I'm having issues with a very abnormal idle for me. My car has does 160k full service history up 150 since then iv done it myself anyway. Since iv had it it's had a pretty good idle always around 750ish but a few weeks ago I got rough real rough. In park it's fine but when I put it into drive the revs die out to 500 and the car rattles like crazy. Iv recently put new coils. New ngk iridium plugs to solve the problem but nothing as of yet. It goes hard and under load its normal but as soon as I pull up at the lights the revs come down and the shakes set in. Iv also noticed when I put the defogger on and the ac it gets worse. The car has never acted like this it's got me stumped. All this started to occure after my last service. I noticed the oil I got this time has changed from semi synthetic to fully synthetic not sure of that's an issue. It's a bit of a novel sorry >.<

Has anyone else has trouble with finding a decent exhaust shop that will perform this mod. Iv called many shops lately and I can't seem to find anyone who wants to do it. They ramble on about EPA or that they won't touch it has anyone had this mod performed up around Greensborough area?

I had the same problem. My joiner to the trottle bodie cracked and I was losing all my boost. I refused to replace the old joiner with the same crappy ford ones so I brought a 76 mm silicon joiner off eBay and barely squeezed it on it looks good and works a charm. There is a 80mm option that fits better but I couldn't find it weeks ago. Give those a try

Pulled out the spark plugs and coils on the weekend. Coils looked brand new. Checked thier resistance all within a fee ohms of eachother. 6.0kohms I think,.. 2 of the spark plugs were on finger tight. Re dis them and checked the state of them they looked great, cars feeling much better. Cleaned that solenoid and the throttle body. Boost is kicking in harder than ever.. Every now and then I get a little hesitation but it's 90% better.. Thanks for the info henz big help mate.. I might run some injector cleaner next to clear that little bit of random hesitation
