  4. Paluma is a great little blind twisty rad through the mountains. Id like to meet up for a cruise boys around townsville any day:)
  5. I purchased my Turbo smart BOV dual port from Intunemotorsport.com.au which you will find under the products section( they do sell some useful products). Its a direct replacement for the factory BOV. It have installed to atmos. It can be changed to plumb back by screwing in a small plate with an allen key. Its much louder than the factory one and its quite funny how much people turn around when the turbo spools up and the BOV vents. I guess it does that when its on 18 psi lol. I am careful around cops not to put the foot down because of the attention
  6. All good Panda I didnt know that auto's had that problem with fuel starvation. Personally I get bored in auto's and refuse to own them for street rides. It is a lot of fun to drive in the man. You can write off first gear for traction even in second it breaks traction on full boost and chirps it up after that its fine. Im still using the factory 19 Dark rims with 245/35/19' on back and front. Im using cheaper tyres I doubt even if I purchased more expensive ones I would get better traction. The best thing about the car is that with this power its still very drivable and you can enjoy being mild or wild. Good pickup on the dyno sheet Shyfrd. I thought it was funny they put 4 cylinders on there as well. I agree that I would definently rather buy a surge tank then buy a new engine if it were an auto that's a no brainer
  7. Im unsure of the brand of the wastegate. Its just an external 11psi actuator that was bought locally. I had to replace it as the standard actuator wouldnt let more than 12psi out. I dont agree that the power level is too dangerous. Ian knows knew that my ride is an everyday ride and we agreed on a reliable safe tune at around that power level. I have not had any problems with the car since nor doi beleive I will have problems. I trust Ian's knowledge with these engines and what they are capable of and whats not safe. I beleive its to the boundaries now. Any more and there would be damage. I still have the standard 6 speed box. The clutch is not slipping at all. If am I wrong Panda you can say I told you so but hopefully that wont happen. Riptide that is about 500hp at the treads. If you have a ford in townsville take it Aitkenvale. They will do a good job. I will add a copy of my dyno. I installed some new guages as well to replace the factory ones. They are the oil pressure and boost guages by autometer both in PSI readings. I will upload a pic of them as well.
  8. Im finally back here on the forum after a long absence while working overseas. Since Feb ive been back home in Townsville I have made some changes to the vehicle and had realisations about tuners as well. The last 4 years I have been here I have done business with Aitkenvale auto and could not complain about Ian or his service work. In July last year I was impulsive to get some work on my car to 300-330rwk. I decided to do the business thing and meet other tuners around and get quotes and talk. I approached TMS and Peter seemed liked a genuine guy that knew what he was talking about and sold it well to me. If you ever visit the TMS site you will notice that they do alot more work to Holdens than they do fords which should been a clue. I decided to go ahead get the tune and work done. The dyno paperwork you see says 306.7 rwks at 14.5 psi. I was happy with the tune as the car was more potent and fun to drive. Peter said to me that I could have gotten more power as the fuel system still had more to go and he said that his dyno had been known to give low readings which had me thinking that I had somewhere of 320 rwks or more. Recently I went back to Ian at Aitkenvale and needed a service done and I was curious about I dyno tune and assesment on his Mainline Dyno. The other give away is if you look at Ian's site auto-dyno.com.au you will notice its the other way around they do Mostly Fords and get big power to. He also does Custom SCT flash tuning for individual vehicles and not generic tunes. We did the dyno and assesment and it was came up as 291 rwks. So much for Peters low reading. Ian also pointed out that I received a Generic tune and my injectors were maxed out which again I got lied too about have more to go in my fuel system. The dyno said that I was pumping out 15.5 psi and that at that level I should be seeing 350rwks. After this result I wanted to make some changes and get this ride to run properly with a good tune and no restrictions. The injectors had to go infavour of a bosch blue printed 660cc and the exhaust was changed to xforce 4 inch dump into 3.5 mild steel. I also put in a walbro intank fuel pump. I had said to Ian to give me 350rwk as this was what I understood to be a good level for street application. He called me on the phone while he was tuning and said "how much power do you want" I said we agreed on 350 didnt we, he said" mate we have gone past that" I said sh*t lets make it 370 then. So the final tune came as 371.4 rwks 1000nm tourque at 18psi. Im extremely happy with the result and will never be disloyal to Aitkenvale auto again. I gained 80 rwks with great top end and better economy if driven sensibly. Thanks Ian and Aitkenvale you guys know your fords.
  9. Happy Birthday BlueDevil81!

  10. What power did you have before this current tune? Hows traction atm?
  11. Here are some more pics of the blue beast. Sorry about the delay. Do most of you like the gt stripes? Most people like them, I think they are great.
  12. The battery has not been relocated. The intake is a pod filter which came with the plazmaman kit. Its quite low and sits behind the bumper so I have to be careful when entering flooded roads. No I didnt install the kit myself I took it to townsville mechanical services. I asked peter for a power package of between 300to 330rwks which we acheived with 1 bar of boost. Im not a mechanic but do minor maintenance myself. If you google townsville mechanical services you will see my car in the turbo charged section. I will update somemore pics just been a bit lazy.
  13. The previous owner from Brisbane modified the exhaust which is 3 inch and come out into a twin tail pipes like shown in the pic. Since ive had the car I changed the centre muffler to give it a chunkier note. The exhaust seemed sufficient to give me the desired power and if I didnt have to fork out for another exhaust system I wasnt going to. But your right if I was going to do it from scratch I probably would have gone for something a bit larger may an xforce system.
  14. I have entered the 300 club today and it feels great. Would like to thank pete and the guys at TMS in townsville for the hard work and the good result. I pulled 306.8rwk at 1 bar with the following mods: Atomic valve spings 800hp plazmaman cooler kit 42 lb injectors 3.5 inch dump into 3inch exhaust 11 psi actuator. x cal flash tune new sparkies and coils It turbo spools much quicker and sounds exciting with a big hiss followed by the prominent waste gate release. It brings a smile to my face. The good thing to know is that there is plenty of room for an increase in power easily if ever needed but im happy for now. Will update more pics:)
