Still happy non the less with my time.
  2. mine does it too, somedays it doesn't though! Very annoying. I've been told its the TPS.
  3. It's fixed itself now. Must of been water on the actuator. Very happy that it's resolved itself now. I blame the rain.
  4. Oh and the interior light doesn't come on with the 2 left passenger doors but It does with the 2 right ones. Even though the door light is still on
  5. Can someone tell me where the BCM is? A lot of people have replaced that with the same problem as mine and it's fixed it. Can I use a N/A bcm on my T ? I'll get one from the wreckers.

  7. So, I live in brisbane and we've had all this rain. Anyways, that's just something I thought I might add. So to the point, I was driving down the road about 3 minutes after I unlocked the car, and the door open light comes on then goes off, about 5 seconds later it comes on and goes off again. then flashes a few times, and now it's constantly on. So Now I cant lock the car because the thing thinks its door is open, when everything is closed. It's not the boot because the interior light come on when it did it. Pretty sure its the passenger door, as when I'm driving open any other of the 3 doors, the car beeps at me except with that 1 door... So I need your wisdom! What is it, how can I fix it and how much is it going to cost ?? Thanks guys!

  9. Mine makes the same noise... its when it starts making grinding noises that you have to worried. I was told from a mate of mine, that it's just because it a BB turbo, and you can hear the BB spinning... his car makes the same noise too.
  10. Sounds like the gauge is stuffed and you're getting a placebo effect.
  11. No. When I come onto boost, Like I said. Does not misfire under load. Does not make this pop in the higher gears either.
  12. Hey guys, last night I put my foot down it first and had a very loud pop ( just one ) come from the exhaust when I first hit full boost. This arvo coming home from work, same thing again WOT in first and a loud pop from the exhaust. I decided to reinstall the tune, and take it for another strap, did it again in first then second ( just a small one in second ) also feels like its lost a bit of power. But my boost gauge still reads 12 PSI at all time on boost. Some help as to what it could be would be nice ! its a 6 speed manual if people need to know! Thanks guys.

  14. So maybe I missed something and the price to have that blasted center diff bush replaced across the BA/BF series has dropped an ass load! Or I've found a bargin! After ringing a number of placed to have my bush replaced with my own diff bush ( Super pro comfort series bush ) I accepted the fact that I'd be paying roughly anywhere in between $580 - $1000 to have the bush replaced. One place quoted me $350 because he'd done it quite a number of times, and knew how to do it quickly. But I decided, I'll ring ford in Bundamba Ipswich, and was damn surprised when they said 'oh yeah! We do them for $270!'. Needless to say, I booked it in for the following friday with that quote on file. When I got there I told them about my diff hat leaking they said that they would look after me and what not. They rang me a few hours later and told me the total price will be $500 as they had to drop the rear cradle. $270 for the diff bush and $204 to have the hat fixed and oil replaced. before I rang these guys, I rang their other shop in springwood ( owned by the same person ) to have the mechanics quote me $770 for the labor alone! So I'm damn happy! and would like to send a big thanks to Bundamba ford in ipswich! they also did a small inspection on the car and let me know the tyres howl when braking and that the blow off valve was loose. So anyone needing their bush done, and want it done by ford in brisbane. This is the place to go!
  15. Ok so I really don't want to change my dash. Is there a way to wire something similar up? I don't really want a shift light. But still want something like the fpv dash.

  20. just read in the other thread that all rods are the same throughout ( unless I misread ) the only thing that really changes is forged pistons.
  21. I think my little rubber seal might be screwed, When the car is cools its quieter, but If I give it a boot full, it becomes noisier.
  22. So with my xcal 1 do I have to buy a new xcal 3 and unlock/tune my car all over again ? too much reading when I can just get a simple answer now.

Hey guys, doing a mountain run yesterday, half way up I noticed a fuel smell, thought nothing of it, got to the top and my fuel pump was noisier than normal ( bosch 044 ) and a fuel smell on the left side of the car around about where the pump sits in the tank. I got home and pulled the pump out and whacked it back in, seemed to fix the noise but could still smell it. Now today, the pump is noisy again and the fuel smell is a little stronger. I don't think the pump is shagged as its only fairly new. Mates XR has the same problem. Anyone know what it is, or what it could be ? Thanks.
