  1. geeez that 45 looks MASSIVE compared to that 42. Imagine the 3540 compared to it! good stuff!
  2. $1500 or so for xcal and tune. Think its same everywhere give or take $200. If your unsure of where to go, and your chasing good power and proven timeslips, just check the Top 25 BA/BF section on this forum somewhere. Check out all the vic tuners and see who has heaps. Id recommend them.
  3. dj just go to heathcote. No worries about cage/tailshaft loop

THey!! this car still going? Taken her to the track yet?
  5. Personally I prefer luxuries such as air conditioning, heater, power stearing etc and run 10s then run 9s with nothing and also have something more of a late model car. But each to their own. This is still tough as nuts! Cant beat the power to weight ratio! PS sucks to hear about the write off hope everyone was ok.
  6. wow I would of cried been that close!
  7. dynomite is great. plenty of proven fast cars running 9's and 10's. If I recall he is like $90 an hour. Think that's standard. Apart from HP-F who are in the $130 mark. All depends what you are after
  8. isnt it a powerglide? how can there be an issue when it was fitted on markvan's 9sec beast.
  9. plenty of cars 'capable' of 9's!
  10. that's some good results blow off. Wonder why there are no drag racing classes with r888's. Only hear about ET Streets ever used on high powered cars running 10s and faster. 1.6x's with them is awesome though through a 20"!!!!
  11. ba/bf turbo ported + bigger flapper with a bigger actuator will run into the high 10's. Has been proven many times by people in the top 25 list on this site somewhere. Great responsive turbo compared to the bigger laggier ones if you want 10's and a daily and no massive lag.
  12. sorry to say but DOT APPROVED means squat here in AUSTRALIA. Only in America. MT ET Streets are DOT approved. But DOT approved is NOT an approval on aussie roads. if the r888's where better then the ET Streets, then im sure everyone would be using them on the track. Big call claiming r888's are better then the ET streets. Mind you when using a semi slick, anything over 18" is useless anyway (well 17" for any car trying to put real power down).
  13. both are fine. Throw in CV performance to your list. they all do the job fine. Just go with the cheapest quote as all their results are good.
