  2. Didnt hit limiter, it was a squirt not even to full boost, car is still running very strong, almost sounds like the noise is coming from the cat.
  3. No surge tank, have a after market fuel pump. Might have had quarter tank. What do you think?
  4. Hi guys, Just wanted some thoughts on what happened today. I was driving and gave it a boot, I heard what sounded like something pop with air. After this noise I pulled over and the car was idling rough. Turned it off then back on and all good, gave it another boot to check and it seems to have not lost any power. Thought when I do boot it now I can hear like a metal rattling. Its a Ba turbo with a few mods, I put the elm on it and its only got the fault code ive had for ages which is (system too rich) any thoughts?

  8. Hi guys, been a while since I have been on here. Im thinking of getting rid of the ute for something smaller and more economic. Just wanting to get some thoughts on whether to sell it as is with minor mods and 270 rwkw or return to stock which will cost a little bit but which would help me sell easier from previous experience? cheers
  9. Ok so planned a get away for Easter, thought I would fill up waters and clean throttle body etc on my ba xr6t ute. Cleaned the throttle body and butterfly with carby cleaner then went and washed car then back home, later drove to the supermarket and when I came out to drive off the car wouldn't start. It wouldn't even turn over and all the lights were flickering on and off like it was tripping/shorting out. Heard a ticking under the bonnet while turning the engine over and the ticking is coming from the side of the throttle body, sounds like the butterfly is trying to open and close but not happening, anyone know what it could be? cheers

  13. Hey guys my ute needs some loving and need to touch up a few stone chips then get it cut and polished does anyone know where I can get touch up paint from, the original color? or a kit? cheers

  17. so fuel pump doesnt really do much for me haha oh well did it myself so all good, id love another cooler but im not planning on ever running it down the strip and assumed the wog would be fine for a squirt here and there on the street?

  21. Yeah panel filter with the typhoon intake, I didnt think the monza would hold it back that much maybe after a few runs
  22. Just took it for a burn its maxing at more like 15-16 psi it looks like haha hmmm tuner knows best I guess, car is feeling fantastic anyways

Boost is hitting around 13 or 14, then dropping off, havnt really watched the gauge yet, its got k&n filter, wog cooler, 42lb injectors, ballistic 100cpi cat, walbro 340 fuel pump, so you can see why is expected more power but as Matt said the actuator is letting it down, on a cold day it would prob hit 270 kw, but the mid range is amazing which is what I want, Matt is a great guy and becoming a great tuner, il be doing the actuator and going back to him, that should keep me happy until I upgrade, yeah the GS is wild

Hey guys got my ute tuned on the weekend by Matt @ bpr, at Daltons dyno in Geelong, didnt get the numbers I was hoping for with the mods but apparently valve springs were holding up and the only thing restricting me from 280-290 rwkw is the waste gate actuator. not sure how to read these dyno graphs but the mid range torque is amazing, the car pulls very hard now and doesnt stop. Next step is the actuator and a re-tune then il be happy with my daily drive. a quick note, Matt took me for a drive in his 400 rwkw supercharged GS ute, Holy fu$k im addicted, the thing lights up putting the boot in at 100klph, and the sound of the coyote mixed with the relentless pull of the supercharger, absolutely amazing, might start saving as I think these will be the next cult modding ford
  25. Hey guys, had my ba turbo ute for about a year now, and it has started knocking when accelerating and going over speed bumps sometimes, its only little quiet knocks but noticeable, im sure someone on here has some idea of what this could be, its annoying. cheers peeps
