Picked up my Xr6t this morning! Owned a g6et a couple of years ago - nice to be back in turbo Ford for daily driving. Crappy phone pics: Ex demo 2014 m2 in Petroleum

The Evo is not really laggy at all. The 2.4 long rod, high comp and e85 do wonders. The extra displacement really makes them hit hard, its pulling from 3000 all the way to 8300. Its more of a track car so have not had it down the quarter, my previous g6et ran mid 11's but the evo is much much quicker. Completely different cars, both great in different ways

Evo pics attached Its a 2.4lr with an FP red turbo and fully built driveline New Xr6 Turbo is just a standard FG mk2 ex demo automatic in Petroleum - should pick it up this Friday Very much looking forward to daily driving a turob Ford again - I was daily driving a little peice of crap for last couple of years but that is about to change

Hi All, Been a member for a while but haven't logged on for ages because I sold my g6et a few years ago to fund an Evo build. The Evo build is well and truely finished (2.4lr running 37psi and making close to 400awkw) and its time to get a daily driver that can fit kids seats in it. Convinced the wife that an Xr6 turbo is the way to go and I pick up an ex demo 2014 mk2 this Friday. Wonder how long it will stay stock for.........
-
Depends if you want to keep it stock or not, if thinking of modding the warranty is useless to you......

Very nice ride, welcome back to g6et club!

Gotta be part of an aftermarket alarm???

Hi Steve, My g6et has done 77,000km now and I would say the seats have softened a little bit. The seats will be firmer in an Bogan special - they are meant to be. I still find the g6et seats very comfortable for any length trip. Cheers, ben

Went to Heathcote today for the first time, very enjoyable trip out. My G6e turbo with 325rwkw pulled 11.8 @ 123mph with Nitto Invo's in complete street trim (two kids seats in the back and all learnt alot from the day and steadily improved as I got used to it. Might have to get an exhaust and gtx turbo now...... -
