Hi I own an FPV GS 315 S/C and have an intermittent electrical issue Get into the car and it is just dead dead like a fusible link broken or something dead, no light no dash lights wont turn over nothing even the boot wont open. Leave it for 1-15 minutes and all of sudden everything comes back and starts as per should be. Had battery checked load tested and so on because heard about low voltage problems and all was fine with battery its a 550 cc. This problem will happen 3-5 times in one week then be fine for ages, then it happens again down the track. Any one else had problems like this ? Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Lmao at your fail in math, it doesn't work out like that mate your obviously some sort of "no it not" as the cordia will do 200km in 4th with more to go in it before dropping into 5th, So how you figured out your smart post is beyond me, If your math was even close to correct a 6 speed manual xr6turbo would have a top speed of hmmmmmm 500km/h.

How did you get that far past the limiter in the ef and el as I thought/was told and experienced in el that from ef right through to the end of AU before they put the aluminum tail shaft that they were limited to 180/190 because the Rear end used do something that caused the tailshaft to throw.???

I have my own guy here at coffs harbour (Coffs Dyno Tune) it seems pointless for me to actually travel 600km's to get work down in the city or 400km's to get work done in brisbane when I can get it done right here and as I change things it can get it retuned. But I need to buy the parts from somewhere I don't think you can get a flash tuner module from atomic I think that's where I will get any engine stuff from though.I found some Dekas for $350 a set on ebay so they will be purchased soon once the valve springs are done which I will get from atomic.

Look Harder for what ? I have searched about not necessarily here but through a few different places. I have a 250kw at front wheel cordia that lives at a dyno shop.If you read the comment above telling me to lay of a flash tuner with generic tunes for my XR6T , why would I as Intune have a good price for the X3 and I have a good dyno shop and mechanic that will be able to do a custom tune with it. Unless you are telling me to look harder because there is some other way to tune it other than with a flash tuner but I don't think you are. if I'm wrong let me know though then I will take the advice of looking harder.

BA XR6t 230-240km don't know excactly because it seems to bounce of limiter and then surge up again Mitsubishi Cordia Evo 3 engine and a lot of work Driving to Hill Climb event with a bunch of other cars so playing around a bit Straight of the clock (220km) in 5th gear about 4500rpm and kept pulling hard till about 8000 rpm probably 260-270

I have always been told white smoke is to Lean, Black smoke to rich, Blue smoke is what you get when turbo seals, rings or valve seats are gone. And clear smoke or steam is either water in the exhaust or worse blown headgasket or cracked head.

Mate I work for a car yard here in Coffs Harbour and one of my mates owns one of the biggest smash repairs up here and the basic mods that people on this forum do would not even be noticed by an assesor for example injectors, exhaust, flash tune and so on even if you got a full forged motor the assesor's would be none the wiser, unless you go and kill someone and they have to investigate more but hay then you got more than a insurance claim to worry about But to be safe I would recommend notifying them for any visible mods cause these would be what would bring you undone.
