  1. I have the Xforce 4" dump and 3.5" catback, makes a lot more torque than the stock system did(power much the same)but downside needed to port the waste gate to help control the boost.
  2. Which Koni's? Koni reds are about the same price as the bilsteins. The second price sounds about right for springs, shocks, fitted and aligned.
  3. Good idea also would be to replace your diff bushes at the same time with something a little better than stock. Factor in a few hundred dollars extra, it will save you in the long run!
  4. Check around some of the 50ths may just happen to have a 5 year factory warranty and with usually low Kim's would be a bargain.
  5. I have a true trac in my G6ET. Great bit of kit.

    Xyz Brakes

Seems to be a common theme. The Harrop Monster kit cleared up front and not the rear with my G6ET factory 19s. I went to great pains before getting the Harrops having being assured by Harrops themselves they will fit but still they didn't. Harrops experimented with new rear brackets but due to the FG rear suspension setup ,the large diameter rotors and the offset needed to clear componetry put the calipers too far out. Options were as you have already looked at 1 PBR rears from FPV/Territory Or 2 Get rims that clear big brakes, like I did. I was worried about brake bias and using an untested combo, so preferred to keep the Harrops fronts and rears together. Let us know how you get on.
  7. Saw this yesterday, not sure if original but looked like a real Shelby
  8. Just saw the Harrops website, didn't realise they were still doing the Monster kit for the FG. Last time I spoke with them they were only doing the Monoblock and Ultimate kits. Must have added them back in after I spoke with them. Be interesting to see their current pricings.
  9. Harrops have moved to either the monoblock type (at I think 355mm front 350 rear) and Ultimates. Missing photos re inserted below.
  10. Yea I had the PBR upgrade on my commodore, great for street duties. I looked into something similar for my FG, spoke with PBR nothing available as a kit, also called Race Brakes in Sydney and there was a possibility of them doing a kit using the PBR calipers. This was a while back and was dependant on availability from PBR themselves. it's about needing to have custom calliper brackets made $$$$$$$.
  11. I have Harrops on mine and the G6E 19s just cleared the fronts(maybe by 3 mm) but the rears needed spacers of around 10mm. I didn't want to go the path of using any spacers so opted for different rims for clearance. I'm lead to believe you would need spacers on the front too with Brembos. I also think wheel spacers may be illegal here in WA, someone might know for sure if this is true
  12. I have ultimates in my Harrops, as said above, hell dusty but they grab hard even from cold which is a nice trait for your daily. And from Harrops themselves they are friendly on rotors. That's why Harrops recommend them for their brakes.
  13. Thanks Ratter. Is it possible at all to have these multiple spark tables in our Fords?
  14. Diff cradle bushes probably shot!! Mines never had axle hop but then I have superpro bushes, bilsteins and a truetrac.
  15. Maybe a tuner can jump in here to answer the question. I too would like to know how come a Late model camira tuned wirh VCM or the like has "91 and 95 fall back tables" buit in the tune. Can someone explain what this means and how come our turbos don't do the same when tuned?
  16. That's the problem, no 20s in a factory rim. Oh well, will just need to look at after market and something to go over my brakes and not break the bank at the same time.
  17. Cheers dude, I am ok with same size tyres all around. I am more interested in quality and finish. Now if only someone has some photos of these on their FG
  18. Can anyone share their experiences, good or bad with the 20inch FPV GT335 copies available on eBay? Photos on your FG XR6T or G6ET would be appreciated. Keen to keep a factory look but still go 20s.
  19. I'm quite happy with my baby turbo built in power limiter keeping all the other bits in one piece.
  20. Hey jules my MT tune with similar mods looks a lot like yours too, I have a 8psi actuator and my tune peaks around 15-16psi tapers to just above 12. Rob said he pulled the boost at the top as it wasn't going to much more power. I only have the stock CAI witha k&n but with a turbo back 3.5 Xforce so maybe with turbo side intake could have gone a few more rwkw. However I'm quite happy with what I have, torque and power both come on early making for a fun drive. When I had my surge fitted tha car was put on the dyno and just needed the AFRs tweaked a little( from memory described as a little fat). I added the PW surge/ PW2 IC/Nizpro overboost valve/flapper mod as security for more consistent, safer power on the street. Not a single dyno run. Just remember when others have to refuel at 1/2 tank you can still power down safely to the low fuel light!!! And still have decent power on a stinking hot day.
  21. When mine spikes on shifts the Nizpro Overboost Valve I have fitted should jump in. I have it set to 2psi above my tune.
  22. $730 agreed value, access removed + fpv wheels + inter cooler + surge tank all added at replacement value and remaining mods declared. RAC WA Perth nothern suburbs 48yo. No one under 30 can drive it.
  23. Mine was same, had the O ring replaced. No more leaks since, however my mechanic says you need to make sure the gasket recess is clean from old gasket material and it needs to be tightened with a torque wrench otherwise they will leak again. Not sure what torque setting he used though.
  24. GOLD!!!!!
  25. If you wind the shocks back the kings should work nicely with the konis. Sure it will be a firmer ride but then the compromise will be removing the boat like ride the factory springs give in the G6ET.
