does the exhaust need to be removed with the maunal T5 or it just makes it a little more easy?

hey mate how much was the job? and are u happy with that clutch?

so say like me iv just hit the 300kw mark and iv stuffed my factory clutch and need a new one but dont think the malwoods opt 2 is going to be good enought and im not wanting to replace the T5 with the T56 just yet as atm the 5 spd has no problems, only done 60,000kms and I need to save up the cash to do it im guessing ill have to go with the opt5 twin plate then I can put it on the 6spd later on and wont have to fork out for another one. would this be a good idea? I know there about $2600 but do I have any other choice??? any sugestions would be much appreciated.

not yet but it runs fine besides the surging while doing higher speeds when hyw driving, maybe fuel pressure but ill have the new pump and that in soon so be able to play around with it on the dyno.

not yet 1600Dave but I will be getting a surge tank put in in a few weeks so I wil get the tuner to have a look and maybe they will be able to sort it out in the retune

does seem to make sense im hoping a retune may also fix my problem because it only started doing it the day I picked it up from the tuner. fingers crossed they can sort it out while its getting the surge tank put in id say it will need a retune after that anyways
