Had a good time last night ,met a few forum members,spoke Ford language all night and shared a laugh. Thanks pat for allowing the use of the premises for the shoot and thankyou Clarence for your patience and great work. Now cant wait for pictures,and join the crew for a cruise down the track.

Wheels have fallen off that mag. I recall watching Top gear AUS ,comparison between dunnydoor and FG base models,FG was superior in most aspects,even surprising Expensive Daewoo fan journo,not to mention 2 seconds a lap quicker lap by FG then the Dunnydoor when driven by the Steg. we wont even need to mention XR6T or F6 .

Phantomchic geat pics ,never seen so many phantoms in one place,ive been to cruises with 30 plus xr,s and lucky to see one including mine. I was getting some Phantom touch up paint mixed at Auto one few years back,the bloke behind counter asked me for paint code.He began to tell me some dude with a Calais turbo, wanted his car painted Phantom.He ordered this paint and went away,he returned some days later and blasted guy talking to me .Accusing him of mixing wrong paint color,bacause car didnt look same shade as Phantom.paint guy apparently rang paint supliers and was informed you require a special undercote ,to have the correct shade,is this story BS ?,any spray painters or Ford employees who might know ?

Thanks for sticking to the facts and the paint thread ITEC. guys im not after a **** fight on colors just the facts,I thought this color was discontinued after ba mk1 ,which probably makes it rarer then other colors which re-appear on BAMK2, BF,s,FG,s ,from a rare color point of view it must be right up there !

Hi there Ford nutters ,just wondering if anyone can clarify a few questions : when ba falcons where being sprayed phantom or Purple in late 02 or early 03,where they taken off the production line for a special undercote,which was different to all the other colors ? How many turbo sedans were painted Phantom ? Was this color used on Marcus Ambrose all conquering BA FALCON ? Any help will be much apreciated,preferably facts,from those in the know !

Well done champ,13.3 is a great time for a stocker,most v8 owners respect our cars nowadays .stalling it up of the line will help,so long as you dont wheel spin. you should read thread on CV PERFORMANCE page on juniors edited/tuned FG xr6t ,I had this car on FWY very impressive !
