  1. He's in marybinong and he wanted the winning bidder to pay for the postage cost regardless of whether it was posted. But if the item was picked up he was going to take $20 off the bidding price.
  2. Yeah standard converter so was hoping for at least a 13.3. I reckon ill get it next time :D
  3. I also reckon that you might want to re think those 19inch dark agents with 245/35's. I've got 17's with 255 semi's on the back with under 300rwkw and I'm always struggling for traction.
  4. I thought I might be lucky to crack a 12.9 or at least a 13.0. Its basically stock with a 10psi generic tune in it till I sort everything out.
  5. I've got the pbr upgrades with dba4000's on my BA and they just clear the factory 17's. They are a fair bit better than the factory stuff and have no problem when I take it for a bit of run through the twisties but I don't know if they'd survive a track day. Especially with 500rwkw! Id be looking at the BA 18's and Brembro's if I had the money and that much power. I'm guessing they'd take the heat a fair bit better.
  6. Did my 1st run in BA XR6T on the weekend at calder before it got rained out. Ran 13.7 at 108mph. Forgot to turn traction control off so no burnout and a sh*t launch :S. Anyone got any idea what time id run roughly with that mph?
  7. I've got the same problem and I'm just going to pull mine off tonight if I get time. Sounds like crap when ever your idling.

    New Wheels

You must be one of the lucky ones that does't have any traction issues haha. Nice wheels but id go a 9.5" rear too if I was to get them. More traction and more dish. Win! Win!
  9. What boost and mods are you running to make that power? Notice much difference with the custom tune? I'm considering to go see Matt as well when I get time. Hoping to get around 280rwkw too. Might be worth while just going down for a spin in the GS haha. Sounds awesome!
  10. I'm definitely looking at one of these for my next car. A car that can make 400rwkw with an exhaust and tune is certainly in my good books!
  11. Well when you decide to sell yours, let me know and ill see where I'm at. Cheers for the help mate.
  12. Hey Sideways, Would you be able to post up the link for the aff group buy? Very interested in jumping on board.
  13. Hmm I don't think I have any plugs behind the carpet. Theres a loom there but I'm pretty sure that's just for the tail lights or something. I'm not sure if ill bother with an LC6i but I might have to if I cant get enough volume out of the amp. The amp I'm using is a mono block so its only really made for low frequencies but the sub still just sounds like a big bassy speaker. So does the LC6i boost the signal that comes from the speakers cos at the moment the sub only seems to put out a tad more bass than a pair of 6x9's would.
  14. Hopefully we get the Taurus SHO motor when they change to the Ecoboost. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_EcoBoost_engine Twin turbo V6 mmmmmmmmm
  15. I think most people on here probably chose that as there 1st mod. It doesn't make a huge difference but you will feel a bit more responsiveness and a bit more induction noise. Put the typhoon second intake on or knock one up yourself for the full benefit.
  16. I probably wouldn't touch it if its already pretty loud and I'm guessing if an exhaust shop made it, it would have high flow mufflers in it. From memory, I think the standard exhaust flows more than a 3" system but a 3.5" would be an upgrade. Maybe have a look around for second hand systems or see if someone want to swap you for there standard system.
  17. A 3" is a bit small for that power. I'm guessing you'd have no problem making 300 with a 3.5" exhaust. A larger dump would help too but isn't necessary.
  18. G'day guys, Ive been looking at installing a sub into the factory space on the BA parcel shelf so I can still keep my boot space. Ive got an amp with high level inputs and was wondering if anyone knew if a BA without premium sound still had the loom in the boot for the factory sub and amp. I wanted to use the sub audio leads for input instead of the speakers so that I only had a low pass input. I tried using my 12" sub n amp and using the rear speakers for the input and I couldn't seem to get enough power or volume into the sub. It still worked but sounded like crap. I'm thinking of using an 8" Jaycar driver and a small amp to mount in the boot n just Dynamat the parcel shelf to help out a bit. Anyone got any suggestions for me?
  19. I work for warren and brown technologies and we made up a custom steel bell housing and adapter plate for Dion at Dynomite performance if you wanted to speak to him n see how it went. We could probably make another one but it would be a couple of weeks wait.
  20. That is so awesome that I'm going to buy one right now.
  21. That cooler will be fine mate. You could make the power easier with out the stock crossover and better piping but you'll still be able to crack 300 with just that cooler.
  22. If the adapter piece is the one that includes the high flow cat then you should have no drama cracking 300's but a cat back will help make it with a little less boost.
  23. I bought the after market ones from partsdencom off eBay for just over $100 n they fixed my coil problem. Haven't had any dramas with them yet.
  24. I'd say try coils first n then valve springs. I had the same problem and that cleared it up.
  25. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you'll gain any power from having a surge tank but with the power you're planning on pushing, a surge tank is probably a good safety measure as with anything under half a tank the fuel will slosh around and the in tank pump might struggle.
