If they are only minor mods and the valve springs are keeping up then there is no need to change them. If you decide to do more mods down the track then it's a good idea to change them though.

It could be that the fuel filter really needs changing and that the car struggles for juice as it hits full boost?

Both my BA and GT-R make the same noise when the engine is shut down. I'm pretty sure its just the noise coming from bearings in the turbo as it slow's down.

Im in a similar boat to you mate. If I could afford the t56 id Deffinitly do it. A lot stronger and a heap better on juice than the old 4spd. As for power gains a high flow cat and a retune would give significant gains if you're on a budget. 03' XR6TURBO. 10PSI TUNE, COOLER AND K&N.

They still have it in hoppers. It's a tad more expensive and only really worth it if your car is tuned for it or to help stop pinging as the others have said. I'm pretty sure it's an ethanol blend too isn't it? So your car will drink a lot more of it.

That looks like a pretty good bike for the money. Great components for a $550 bike. Id buy it. Your not gonna do much better than that in that price range. When it comes to the frame its not like your gonna do big drops on it or use it for competition and most frames have a fair bit of warranty on them. Have they got any added camber on them Henz? Mine sat out further than that with the same size and offset but my car wasn't as low either. -

Just buy the stinky! that's a bargain! But yeah, go the Scott. Slightly better components and you'll love the lockout on the forks if you decide to ride long distance on the road.
