I did the Motorsport course at Kangan Batman Tafe in Coburg. $1000 for a 6 month course. I did the 1st certificate and there is also another 6 month course after that if you want to go further. Some of it was interesting but I found it too basic and not involving enough for my liking. It might help to get into some for of Motorsport but I think a better way would be to complete a mechanics apprenticeship and then send your resume into some teams. I've heard of another course in South Melbourne or somewhere close to the city that has a lot to do with the tuning side of things but there was a 6 month wait to get into that.
Was your car tuned for the octane booster? If not that will most likely be giving you issues. Edit: Just saw Kroozin's pic. I ran a tank of octane booster for a day at Calder in my old car and managed to blow the end off one of my spark plugs :/
There a Dunlop sport maxx, I've never seen them that big before either. He wants to try and stick them on the back of his Maloo. He's gonna need it with 1200HP.
If the op is only planning on making 400rwkw and not running 20psi+ does he really need 12mm head studs? I'm sure the off the shelf ARP standard size would be fine.
I went with my cousin to get a canary lifted one day and when we pulled up out the back he drove up onto the gutter a little. Passed no worries. I was so surprised the bloke at vic roads didn't even notice.
Take the exhaust off. When you go to get a canary cleared they only ever check what you were defected for. Unless it's changed in the last couple of years.
I thought the same about Resident Evil _velocity_. Can't wait to see Looper but I don't think there are any good quality copy's ready yet. Got a 1080 copy of prometheus the other day so might watch that tonight.
Not that it has anything to do with that video but a bloke in an X5 thought he'd give me a tickle last night. Those things go surprisingly well. Still past him in a cloud of smoke though.
