Not too sure if you've driven a 400rwkw car before but it might be a good idea to get used to 300kw 1st. However, you might just be able to crack 400 with that budget but you'd most likely have to hunt around and buy some stuff second hand.
Welcome mate. Make sure you do plenty of research before modifying and do it right the 1st time. You'll be able to crack the 300rwkw barrier pretty easily with that budget.
The cat is the main restriction but a cat back will help and doesn't require a re tune. It may not be the cheapest thing on the market nor net the highest gains but there's not much you can do without a tune.
I still can't comprehend how there are blokes out there that don't like performance cars. I thought it was in our blood. Must just be heaps of *beep*'s out there.
Hahaha I bet it does a good skid. I told him to take it for a run at calder and he said he most likely will. probably do a low 12 if he can get it down there.
Pretty much what Senna said. It doesn't take much over factory boost for heat soak to kick in and you'll start to notice it as soon as you get a tune and the days warm up.
$180,000 on road. haha Don't worry about that. I have the full spec sheet/price list and build diary somewhere. I'm not under paid. Well legally anyway. I just don't earn enough for what I do.
You'll notice the heat soak a lot on the street. My car felt like it was N/A when I was running around 250kw at 10psi. As soon as I put the cooler on all that went away.
