  1. I've never driven one but of all the write ups I've seen it seems like an awesome car. There is plenty of stuff on speedhunters about it. It as no where near the power of a turbo'd falcon but it will out handle the sh*t out of it. There is also already an immense of aftermarket support for them. How much was the dealer asking and was it the base or the top model?
  2. Or buy mine once I clean up the last few bits and pieces . It has high km's but almost everything that wears out has been replaced with new items.
  3. The main things to look out for are suspension and worn bushes which aren't too expensive to fix but if the car is modified it's a different story. I bought my car standard with 260,000 km on the clock and didn't really have any issues with it but now that it's modified and just about to click over 280,000 I've replaced half the car. Average fuel consumption is 350-400km out of a tank around town and 500km+ if all highway.
  4. I guess you've already checked all the hose clamps? Could be something wrong with the bov but I doubt it. Take it back to your tuner and get them to have a quick look I guess.
  5. If you have then factory cooler piping then it might be cracked.
  6. Ah f*ck that then, I'm not going to pull the damn subframe out at pick a part! Not too sure about the gas motor part?
  7. Ah pick a parts miles from me and if the car is still together it's be a pain to get the diff out. That's the joint where you have to get the stuff out yourself isn't it?
  8. Turbo. What's the difference with an na diff. Single spinner?
  9. Anyone got a BA sedan diff for sale?
  10. Awesome project mate and what a great price for the wreck. I reckon you've done quite well to find a wreck at that price and you'll most definitely make some cash back from the left overs. Love your list of cars too. Especially the last one
  11. If you ask Henz nicely, he'll be able to tell you the tyre sizing you'll need to run that doesn't involve any guard mods. You also need a fair bit of low.

    More Power !

Well if you are pretty set on cracking 300 and then 400, I'd save and go a set of id 1000's and valve springs in the 1st round of mods.

    More Power !

Well with valve springs, you'll never know till its on the dyno. I put mine in just in case but you could get away without doing it.

    More Power !

With the mods you listed in the 1st post and a high flow cat, you should be able to crack 300 pretty easily.
  15. By multiple blokes
  16. I've just got the 4spd but the 1-2 shifts at light throttle or in traffic do get annoying, worn drive shafts make the clunking worse also. The 4spd in me EL was the same.
  17. Can't wait to tune the GT-R on E85 at that price!

    More Power !

You still need a high flow cat to make any decent power, which you haven't mentioned yet.

That's a nice assortment of vehicles you have there Aimz.
  20. I say brang. It's easier.
  21. If you were to download a torrent file of say a bluray. What are the fastest speeds you would see on 4G. I get up to around 6mbs per second on cable atm.
  22. Just near me
  23. I have better fuel consumption with 300kw than I did with 200kw. Of course if you drive with your foot flat to the floor everywhere you'll use more fuel but whilst cruising the engine runs leaner.
  24. Your tuner is correct. I wouldn't really bother tuning the car without upgraded injectors. Especially if you've already removed the cat. Pay the extra $300-$400 and you'll make 250-260rwkw.
  25. That is a cool photo. I did that the other day. Did not end well...
