The only reason I went with monroe's is because my standard shocks were rooted and I can get them cheap through work. They are a fair bit better than what was in there and are fine for a daily. The only reason I would go with better stuff is if you had the cash, you really like going through the twisties or you plan on keeping the car for a long time. The falcon is still a boat regardless of what you put in it, hence my decision to change to something a little more nimble and fun to drive. I'm with slash in saying that it is generally worth getting the better stuff but when you can't afford it you can't afford it. I know I can't.
