  1. I did not know that. I always just assumed they had crap fuel.
  2. No worries. So do you think you'll buy new or hunt around for something with a couple for km on it? Apparently one of the newer supercharged 5.0L's will come out intercooled too. I'd wait for a month or so and see how that will turn out if you think you can afford it.
  3. Just a side note, there was an article posted on here yesterday about FPV releasing some new 5.0L models in the coming months if you were willing to wait. I bet they'd be pricey though.
  4. ^ I reckon that's the best way to do it Mika. Feels the best for me anyway.
  5. As nelsonian said. Change to dot 5.1 brake fluid as you most definitely cook the standard stuff. How much power are you making? I ran my average street tyres on my last track and I didn't think they were too bad but with 300kw they struggled to put the power down out of the corners. I also had fairly basic suspension too with a lot of body role so I couldn't get my car to under steer through a corner as I couldn't go fast enough. If you car is standard then I wouldn't worry about your tyres too much. Just go out, have fun and see how it goes. But change that brake fluid!
  6. I'd buy the system at that price. Even if you don't end up using both subs you could always just sell one off. The spacer should be easy to make for the front speakers, just mark one up out of mdf.
  7. Full straight pipes FTW! Fark it'll be loud.
  8. Depends how cheaply you can get the parts for but a rough price is $100-K&N Filter, $300 Bosch or Siemens Injectors and around $1500 for a XCAL 3 and a tune. If you hunt around for second hand stuff you might be lucky enough to get it all for a couple of hundred less than that.
  9. I'd say go for a set of ET's if they're only for the strip but I'm not too sure if they make them in 18's. You could probably pick up a sh*ty pair of rims for under $100 though and just keep them aside for the drags. If you don't want to go that way I'd got the NT05r's as Bonjaz said.
  10. Just getting the car tuned makes a fair difference in power and economy. I'm sure it will put a smile on your face. However, injectors are the 1st restriction in making more power and aren't too expensive so if you think you can afford them grab a set. Also, it's probably a good idea to mod your air box for a bit less restriction, even cutting a hole in the front lower section will help.
  11. I'm too sure how more more stress the weight of a Territory would put on the drive line but I thing you'd be pretty safe with those mild mods and around 280rwkw. Have a quick read through the Territory Turbo threads.
  12. Do you plan on just using them for the strip or keeping them on for the street too?
  13. I used a Permaseal head gasket on my last RB26 build running 20psi with no issues.

    Mods So Far

Depends on the money you want to spend. You could get a walbro installed for about $200 or have a surge tank and 044 for about $1000. Flapper mod and port isn't necessary and I can't quite remember the install price for springs but I think it's around $400-$500.
  17. I'm gunna ask him some questions.
  18. Maybe 300 or a bit more. Standard cat?
  19. If only they were her real knockers
  20. Hell Yes! Well maybe in one of her other sockets.
  21. Where'd you get that Emma Watson pic from Dags? Any more in that set?
  22. I vote 350rwkw depending on boost and if the motor is healthy.
  23. Try google images. There will be heaps out there.
  24. Or maybe Pazz just got off the heroin?
  25. I had to do the same thing as smackers when I replaced my front speakers due to the lower sensitivity. If the balance was set in the centre the rear speakers would over power the fronts so I just adjusted it forward a little and it sounds much better.
