  1. I'm with the other guys on this. 500rwkw would be much more achievable on E85 than 98 but the difference between 400 and 500rwkw on pulp would be massive.
  2. When my car was standard with just a tune I barely noticed the difference the standard and Monza. If you got a standard cooler cheap enough I wouldn't bother paying the extra for the Monza IMO. The car still had bad heat soak regardless. I've still got my stocker at home you can have for $50.
  3. Cheers guys.
  4. Just wonder if anyone knew. If you were just cruising on the highway and didn't really sink your boot in would there be any harm in running 95 while still on the 98 tune? Also what's the speed limit on the Nullabor?
  5. In the kitchen where she should be
  6. My car only pulled 297rwkw on the dyno yet I ran 118mph so wouldn't that be saying that I'm making over 300? 1/4 time was only 12.4 cos of a sh*tty launch and no practice with the new power.
  7. Her bottoms seem to be falling off, but I'm fine with that.
  8. You need the same size all round on a GT-R or your Attesa will hate you.
  9. He returned with $1,750. Told him he was dreamin.
  10. I made an offer for $800 for the "genuine FPV" wheels...
  11. The Monza will be fine to slap straight on as it doesn't work much more efficiently than the stocker. It'll be fine for standard boost.
  12. Nah FPV run a little more and yes you will most definitely need a tune with a 12psi actuator.
  13. Try Fat burger from now on. You can get yourself a cheeseburger and fries for $2.95, *beep*!
  14. Noooooooo Monicaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  15. The full cooler kit won't necessarily get you much more power but it will keep the power consistant. You might might make 300 on the dyno with those mods but once the standard cooler heats up, so do your intake temps and your power will suffer. There is a thread on what mods to do to your FG in what stages if you do a search. Well since you put it that way. Don't touch your car lol. Just get your tuner to do it. Both tuners are pretty much spot on. The only way to test if your valve springs will be ok is to run it up on the dyno, but until then you want know. The prices are about right for supply and fit. If you sourced the parts yourself and could do some of the work you would save roughly $500 or more but that's not an option in your case.
  16. Very jealous. Do many people use it? I'd be happy even if I get 20 mins a day in there. I bet working after being in the gym would be a bit more relaxed.
  17. You don't have to buy all your parts from the tuner you choose. Buy them elsewhere to save a bit of cash and then just get them to fit and tune it. Cut a hole in the front of your air box, buy a set of deka's for under $300, which are good for over 300kw and then get your tuner to fit and tune it. That should be around the $2000 mark if you buy a brand new xcal 3 and tune. You will make roughly 300kw with those mods but your cooler will let you down a bit as it starts to get hot. Fuel pump isn't necessary but it is cheap and will help if you decide to make more power down the track.
  18. I wish I had a gym at work. Would make life easier and my day so much more enjoyable.
  19. For $2200 I reckon you could get an xcal 2 injectors and a high flow cat fitted if you hunted around a bit.
  20. BA-BF factory is 5psi and the FPV's are 8psi. I think FG's are 8psi and then FG F6's run even more. 12psi I think?
  21. I guess so. That's what mine were like when they failed. I haven't experienced what soft valve springs are like as I've already upgraded mine but what your'e describing sounds like the symptoms. I just didn't think it happened to standard cars.
  22. Do a bit of a search on here as it could be a few things but it's most likely your coils.
