    I have one and its great, many country roads travelled and no problems. all relative really, I just got out of a 91 hilux that was lowered and a cast iron 5.0L out the front. I doubt you will be dissapointed with the ride, especially if your comparing it to a jap truck.

    here in nsw I see our hwp always driving with the driving lights on in fg falcoons I bet that wont stop them giving me a fine when they pull me up for doing exactly the same thing

    if going to the trouble of a conversion I wouldnt go the v6. had a 5.0 in my hilux, a mate did the v6 commy conversion into his hilux. I used less fuel and had more power and much better drivability and sound to boot! more torques can only be betterer.

    so you paid 40k drive away with ALL the extras listed in your first post? sounds like you got yourself a really great deal, enjoy! bit of a worry that dealers are willing to go that low though. times must be tough for the falcon

    what did you do to fit the fronts? im thinking of going 9.5 + 12 so that should sit about the same by my calculations. im guessing rolled guards, anything else?

    change back to standard gear and then your sweet.

    I also get the fuel sloshing around in mny tank, a little annoying but not really a huge issue

    same reason your getting excited over some black wheels and some black plastic trim on the hsv I guess

    did he look at the f6e or the gt-e at all? would have thought something like that would appeal as it doesnt have the panda eyes or the big wings

    can you shed any more light on this? im guessing it wasnt serviced at a ford dealer? was it serviced at all and what oil was used? did you buy the car through a dealer or private?

    you must be a troll. as someone above has already pointed out there are more changes than just a set of wheels, that are actually lightweight just like the hsv version this concept might not be radical enough for some but its much better than previous efforts so its a step in the right direction

    cheers for that. have you had any thoughts about getting your pwr rad tank powdercoated to balance the rest of the bits out? it almost looks out of place in there now as the only polished item.

    in your opinion what are the track orientated features exactly? if your talking about the fancy track maps and playstation like gauges that's hardly going to get you round the track faster. more wank value than anything else.

    anyone that is/was a fan of the old F1 days then this is a must see. watched it at the sydney film festival a couple of weeks ago, brought back some sh*tty memories and even though I couldnt watch the incar footage of that final lap, it actually made me cry but it is one of the best docos I have seen. might even go again, is this open to anyone or do you need to be a member of that club?
