  1. You could probably get away with something a little wider than 215s on 9.5"s if you weren't planning on going crazy low. Or if you're game enough to lip your front guards you could go wider again.

  6. Im up for a new 5 speed in my N/A ba xr6. Should I be looking for a T5Z for the extra strength or will the 2.95 1st gear ratio make my na even more of a slug in 1st? Also I have 3.9 diff ratios if that makes any real difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  7. Im running 18x9.5 +12s on my ba and haven't done any guard work at the front, just rolled the rears. With stretched tyres it can be done and looks pretty tough in my opinion

  9. Up for a new clutch in my NA ba. Is the ba turbo clutch mutch stronger than the na one? Any help/advice would be much appreciated

  13. yeah I dont think the tyres are a necessity with 180kw haha. Probably just need to learn to launch it a bit better. Or put some good tyres on a pair of 16s/17s. I eventually want to do cams so if I get a tune now, I know ill have to get a retune eventually. Not sure wether to save my coin and wait for the cams. I've adjusted the shift firmness up on the xcal 3, can chirp 2nd now which is a pretty big deal for the na guys

  16. Was told that if an LSD is really loose it will knock like this. Does it seem loose?
  17. Dont even know whats in mine, but its loosend up after only 8000km, going back to have it tightened this week

  21. Yeah definitely not the same bang for buck as the Ts. But im sorta lost with your XR argument. Xr6s have slightly more power, and the diff ratios in XTs are pretty stupid. A stock xr6 will beat a stock xt, no argument there.
  22. Yeah P plate laws. Bit much to say the $$ have been wasted haha Im still 18, get my opens on my 21st birthday, f##k driving a super slow car till then Mights just by a head with a bit of work already done, get a tune and see how long that keeps me content
  23. Some better tyres might be the go then. Really? If I have it in performance (rather than actually selecting 1st) it will bounce off limiter once than smoke into 2nd. And if I really try I can get it in 3rd on the spot haha Thanks for the advice mate
  24. Yeah got an LSD man. Even with something like 275s would you get traction dropping it off a high stall?
  25. Yeah just a generic tune, wanted to get a bit more work done before I get a custom tune. How high of a stally would you recommend XR6menace? I can stall it to about 1800-2000rpm now but as soon as I let my foot off the break it jumps to limiter Can you only really take advantage of a stall when your at the strip running slicks?
