  8. No, should I? I had a fark off magnet stuck to the filter too, though removed the magnet and emptied the contents of the filter back in the pan. Didn't think to cut it open. I've got a big pipe cutter somewhere to open'er up if this is the norm. I think it's all fine tbh. Motor seems happy, only it's a bit tractor on cold start up but I guess that's to be expected with forgies. I read somewhere that JE pistons don't offset there gudgeon pin too which would help. Maybe when I change over to the fully synthetic it'll sound different when cold.
  9. 1st oil change was after 450kms, I'll do another in 500kms using Then switch over to fully synthetic penrite 15-40.

Joes confident the setup should see over 500 on e85 but I think he might have forgotten which cooler I'm running. 1000hp plaz hmmm Opt 3 clutch is going to be the limiting factor unfortunately it managed to hold 400 b4. Should see some good numbers on the dyno but I'll have to turn it down again
  12. Fair enuf, mcarthur at narellan are a good cheap alternative. 95bux a side 2nd hand. Always have plenty there.
  13. Cms at Prestons know their stuff and don't charge n arm and a leg. As Kosij said though run the other way from watsy, suprised that fella is still in the buiz. How did you get on to him? Just curious.
  14. Only have a run in tune atm. Tested it on the dyno though and it's happy to climb up to 10-15lb for a tick.I'll post results once it's all done.

  17. Oops.. Haha So far so good guys. Just clicked over 500kms, it's so hard to load these up with this turbo it just whacks str8 round to 15lb. It makes 15lb at 2500rpm when in 4th going from 50kph. Been driving it reasonably hard but not too hard during the break in, plenty of load cycles. Been thru some nice hilly areas like a loop round bells line of road + some Galston runs too. 1st impressions of the new turbs is gr8.

  19. I think the shafts are a bit different. Tried fitting Fg shafts in my bf and the cv's would grind when the car bogged under load
  20. Fuq that bloke has ruined some cars I honestly think he does it to drum up extra work. Blows it up because oh I told you them monzas were sh*t then don't worry I'll build you a motor and sell you this and that. The bloke seriously needs to be removed
