my bro is doing a n/a to turbo conversion. He bought a bf mk2 phoon motor from ford and atomic oil pump gears and crap loads of other stuff. Its not as straight forward as one would think to do a conversion. I mean you gotta get all the sensors, some plugs arent a straight swap either like the plug on the inlet manifold is different and apparently needs to be wired backwards, computer, inlet and zorst valves, 4 bar fuel reg. and that's just a few off the top of my head. It adds to alot more than that little list you write up before you start that's for sure. We both agreed it would of been sh1loads cheaper and easier to just buy a BA mk1 5 peed manual pull the motor out and rebuild it.. he already has a mal wood 6 speed box and a built diff out of a 9 sec xr6 t as he thrashed the standard gear just running a modded n/a.
