  1. Now I think about out it, wasn't Che's dyno only like 6rwkw different from cv's when they were testing out the new gt335 for real rwkw. Apparently ppl thought Che's was showing a high reading for a stock car so they tested it at cv's and it made like 5 or 6 more there. I know dyno's are just a tuning tool in the end of the day but they can't be too far off right?
  2. Bout 3 years ago I went str8 from intune to che as intune gave me doubts at the time, so I went to get it checked by dale, the power difference was 3rwkw.
  3. am I right in saying that joe blows xcal used for his car can read say john smiths dtc's on his car providing they are both say b series turbos or b to f series turbo's for that matter?
  4. my brother has the exact same fault codes at the moment in his b series T, only he has P0171 aswell.
  5. have you got an xcal unit?
  6. whats your experience tell you a set of 75lb injectors with a single 044 surgey fed from a walbro on a 35/40 capable of?
  7. is that danny's car your talking about, made like 480something rw? I wonder if its the compression/boost that turns these motors into scrap metal or just the shear power they are making?
  8. Hmm I don't like that answer and I'll ask again... Just kidding mate Cheers
  9. ^^^^ really?? Guys I'm stuck on this one.... To eflex or not eflex that is the question? Eflex is on the way to wk... United well that's just never gunna happen I'd run outta fuel on the way back from filling up... it'd just be pointless really Would it be better than 98 running say 380rwkw? Or would the safety margin necessary for "bad batches" make it a wasted effort. What are other guys doin running the eflex stuff?
  10. Do u ya have to take e85 fuel with you when getting tuned for it. I mean drain all fuel from tank then refill with e85?
  11. Killa Ba bottom ends.. Lol I'll see how it goes might have to push it to 386 now though Is yours a manual? Which gear are you getting traction in on the smooth stuff?
  12. We'll see how she goes on tuesday bud.. fingers crossed. I know it can do it but... can it?
  13. fair call.. Sounds like they have no consistency from what Ive been reading around but wasn't 100% sure if that was playing enough of a hinderence to stop ppl using it. Would love to be living in Victoria atm though, they have united e85 everywhere by the look of it.. damn Vic's :biggun:
  14. so would it be worse off than BP98 with my current setup?
  15. Hey guys, I just found out I have a caltex selling e85 15min away from me being on the way to work.. Question is.. is it worth getting a tune on e85 with 75lb injectors and a single bosch 044 surge tank setup? I am currently running 380+ on 98 at 18.5lb.
  16. Decided on going back to VCT. The bottom half of the rev range is suffering. I don't wanna have to adjust for the bottom end mechanically then fall short up top.
  17. Hopefully I can get a run in next week too if the cars up for it. I'll be giving my younger brother a run if we can manage it. His should be quicker but we'll see how we go.
  18. Ok brace yourself for a dumb question... lol!! Would bigger cams be of any benefit at this point in time? I've done all the bolt on mods. I'll use the cams in my next motor when this one dies if it's worth getting them now.
  19. Cheers mic Been thinking about this some more and I have faith in the decisions made. The car has been running crazy fast for months now without any issues. Maybe some further tweaking may be necessary to use them to there potential.
  20. Not really for my application me thinks after doing some research but yeh there is a small market for them. Thanks for your input Ratter your a good bloke.
  21. I get the feeling if I try to move them on they'd be harder to sell than AIDS
