  1. Good luck with the tune mate, money well spent IMO.
  2. Glad ya found'm.. what piping setup have u got?
  3. He already has the f6 intake../\/\/\/\ k&n panel filters are around the $100 mark dont forget to tighten all the exhaust manifold and turbo to manifold bolts every service as they always come loose.. sort of Seriously wouldnt spend any of my hard earned cash, on any of that hype with the air boxes. If you are chasing abit more power do as everyone else is saying and get a custom tune... everyone is saying the same thing for a reason. Might be abit more of an outlay but you will enjoy smokin a stock VE GTS whenever ya feel like it from having just a tune alone. then the snow ball effect haha.
  4. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?
  5. Hey guys, Anyone usin one of these bad boys? http://www.audiocontrol.com/14162/products/EQX-Trunk-Mount-Equalizer-with-Crossover.html I am thinking of doing this little upgrade myself though I have been quoted 1450bux to have it done by an Audio shop. Inc. new kicker speakers to replace the premium sound speakers.. 6 all up as the sub and amp is already done. The line converter, new amp, replace cables and then dynamat the front doors and boot. Is 1450 a good price for all this?
  6. Pried the farkers off front 'n' back with a flat bladed screw driver.. carefully of course The ford badges that is, the rest came off with fishing wire.
  7. just bought me one of these suckers http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Stebel-Nautilus-Compact-Truck-Horn-12V-Earthquake-Horn-GPNTC-TR-12-/110853808686?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19cf66e22e Should do the job.. LOL!
  8. yeh Ratter I know what you mean but this was rediculous.. kind of like a ball pain hammer rapidly being hit on a metal table noise, loud enough that the noise was coming thru the enclosed dyno room walls and could still clearly be heard from the workshop entry door which is a further 8-10metres away for more than just a few runs in a row.
  9. I used fishing line, picked off the lumpy bits off glue with my finger nail then a dash of peto on a rag to remove the rest. Then washed it off of course same as you would if ya got clumsy at the servo
  10. When I think back I can remember the pinging coming thru the walls of his dyno room... I was very green to all this at the time, I swear he must of been tryin to blow it up the pinging could be heard from the front of the shop.... no sh*t! Sorry back on topic.
  11. Speak to John @ Intune Motorsport, he is really good. f*ck I was only joking guys.... Jeez!
  12. after watching that video the experience that I have had was on BTA's dyno my car made 406rwkw and climbed up onto the front roller though on envy's dyno it made 411rwkw with the car strapped down hard as f*ck on the bump stops as the 1st run had wheel spin in the mid-range and only made 398rwkw.
  13. do you mean this thread shyfrd?
  14. I'd still be careful though, if they want to be carnts they could probly still use your mods against you I.e if you lower it and get cv probs... I dunno but you get the drift. Wheels, swaybars and shocks probly wouldnt go astray IMO
  15. got a hair cut yesterday, the car has easily picked up a tenth. Cheers
  16. just noticed the dyno setting was in SHOOT_8F not SHOOT_6F how come it was done that way?
  17. is it me or was that run done in third? not that it really matters just curious...
  18. springs fitted.. notice how level the car is. Wish I took some b4 and afters to compare. Very happy with it at the moment, hopefully it stays level after a week or so!! LOL After fitting up I went for a strap around the block to seat everything in its normal pos. then came back and measured up. The front came in at 334mm and the rear came in at 336 with a 1/4 of a tank of juice. Now with a full tank of the juice, the car sits at 335mm in the front and 328 on rear. Sounds silly but I was actually suprised that the measurements came in exactly the same from both sides of the car to the mm. The Lovells superlows were 346mm up front and 358mm in the rear with half a tank. They are a fairly soft spring compared to the king springs... glad there on the shelf in the shed now and not on the car! After driving some more with these springs the billys and a 32mm sway bar up front with the bigger rear sway bar (forget size) the car sits very flat thru the corners + it feels like the car has more grip, with no more sudden shifting of weight at all... I must say it feels a little less forgiving but also feels alot more predictable, easier to control and smoother when its slippery .
  19. Got this setup today to replace my superlow lovell springs.. The part no. for the next one lower than SSSL is KFLR-68SP4 and the front's are KFFL-57SL
