  1. "Chev" ftw
  2. Front uca's are easy as just call wholesale for them the lcas can be a swap out item with wholesale too. Not nearly as easy of a job as the uca's but doable. I wouldn't pay someone to do it but that's me. Front bar off job + some other annoying chit but again doable. No real special tools needed maybe just a long extension bar to crack the nuts they are FT.
  3. Yeh f*ck it why not aye
  4. You can fit roughly another 3mm spacer in behind the uca's before you run out of thread.. Upper bushes cost sfa and u can do it urself.. Maybe abit more toe is needed. Personally I choose to run 1.5 deg neg cam at 8.3 deg cas with 1 deg total toe.. Munches inners too but the car feels so much lighter in the front end. I'd look at doing your uca's bushes and get a wheel alignment. What's your hub to guard meas. up front?
  5. Yeh I have a defy1 roadie can't fault it at all either light and strong win win
  6. I adjusted the cradle with a measuring tape coz im bodgy .. actually came out spot on after a wheel alignment..mind you I measured off just about everything in sight and just nudged the basterd around till it was spot on.. After that I just got some black spray paint and sprayed all around where the cradle meets the sub frame for later use then nipped up the 18mm bolts.. its gotta be a deep socket too.
  7. You know those mazda 6 mps's go pretty cheap in the 2005-07 range.. AWD 2.3L turbo 10.something comp. and have a reasonably good box backing them too.. main weaknesses are rear diff bush and timing chain tensioner which can be checked very easily.. Anyway good cheap car to get you around wont loose much money on it def. a bang for buck car until you get the req. coin for the g. Just a though anyway LOL I drove one the other day (07 model) and they f*ckin crack for a little stocker haha handle good too. better kw/kg than a rexy too
  8. yeh dont be afraid to look on ebay either.. that bike I bought was around 3000bux US when it came out in 2011.. I picked it up for 1400 inc. freight to Syd from Vic. Its a very clean bike too, I was lucky. Giants are a good bike too IMO they are usually lighter than there competition for the same coin + run a fairly good frame setup... a very tried and tested setup is usually what they bring out. 9/10 it'll be a safe buy if you spend the money.
  9. have you had a look on here http://www.bikeexchange.com.au/ Has all the bikes there and atleast you know what they are going for everywhere else. I was looking at bike shops too but was deterred by some of there unrealistic pricing.
  10. How did your engine oil cooler go on the track + which one did you end up going with? Are these any good? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OIL-COOLER-KIT-10-ROW-UNIVERSAL-WITH-ADAPTOR-BRAIDED-HOSES-/170714852908?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27bf65ee2c
  11. Looking at 29er's? I picked this up off 2nd hand ebay for 1400bux inc. freight from vic. Planning on using this for xc and abit of dh..
  12. Whats considered a quick time around there?
  13. big dif. in oil capacity there
  14. does the t56 use brass rings too?
  15. well established farm you have there
  16. disregard... need brakes, etc, etc.
  17. if it were me I'd look for an 07 model manual.. will have to upgrade the clutch at some point if you mod but they are tuff as! I reckon the 6 speed manual would be the most robust gearbox in the B series. With the right setup I cant see why you couldn't run over 400 as a daily driver aswell 5 speed manual or 4 speed autos are said to have issues once you start pushing some more grunt, some ppl have even lunched them with stock power. The ZF's IMO are the beez knees in terms of the gear boxes but they can have there quirks too.
  18. May even break traction earlier than that..? Private road test
  19. other than the valve springs, what else has changes since you were last running 18lbs and how long was it between running the 18lb tune and the new tune? What have you tried so far?
  20. Ktm 50 in a pushy... Yes a little potato but its a good laugh.
  21. For the ones that missed it.. Which clutch is that 1? Cost ya much? Heavy? Thnx
  22. Nice, how does it sound now?
  23. probly a repeat.. buuuuuuuuuuuuttt get over it dags
