  1. that's a good price.. who did you go thru?
  2. your right mate.. do you know where the "build thread" is for this? The 1 with the pics etc, for the simple chunts like me
  3. Not bad for dead stock.. I was there the other week and this bloke with "350rwkw" in his manual ute was getting same 60ft or worse and roughly the same et I can't remember what his mph was though.
  4. That friction modifier stuff only makes the diff have more slip.. For example if you turn full lock and give it a small stab it will allow the inside wheel to spin more so. Usually it's the rhs wheel that'll spin more when there getting tired. Both should spin the same direction and have a reasonable resistance if 1 person holds one wheel stationary while the other person tries to turn the other wheel. Another way to check is take off quick on level, even surface ground quickly and induce wheel spin there should be sfa difference from where both your black lines start
  5. I know 32 is too low unless you got some motha side walls on them but I run 19's and could't honestly tell you what I think you should run.. I would imagine 38 would be on the money though but again depends on what tyres your running.
  6. personally I would do what this fella is doing aim for over 400 but RUN E85, 98 tune could be low 300's for all I care. I think the ethanol fuels are def. the key to having something that doesnt blow up in your face in the 1st minute.. obviously you cant drive it like a beep and boost hard in low revs but with a bit of common sense and mechanical sympathy and of course E85 smash it over 400 with a GTX. I have the ba bottom end and have no dramas with 4th's on a cold morning running eflex.... of course your tuner plays a massive role in how long it will last too. Anyway if this thread kicks off the way it should hopefully it gets cleaned up later.

    Will This Do?

Is it a manual? What tyres are ya runnin on the back? Must be stoked Jim good chit mate
  8. looking forward to seeing how you go with this.. again plz take some progressive pics. Like SSBB said ppl will be all over this in time, inc. me one day haha. Like you, one day I'll pick myself up an fg motor throw some springs in and your ready for a gtx Are you fitting up the motor, etc yourself? Can't say I'm a fan of the search function on this forum but what power were you running before and who are you going to get to tune your car next? Def. recommend CMS if your not already going there. Good luck with it bud
  9. I would go for an opt 3 + bud no compromise.. I've ran just the 3 for 70,000 running over 300 the whole time
  10. Sorry ^^^ but did anyone else read the 1st post and think wait wtf and then go oh 2005.....
  11. Did you find out what power it made?

    Will This Do?

Wicked!! Which turbo are you running for that? Looks like a nice and smooth power run up to the top too
  13. On the passenger side of the car in the middle of the passenger door underneath about 500mm
  14. http://bit.ly/16XG5El More than enough pres. works like a champ and only draws 2.7A. End of hi-jack
  15. The filter is on the phaser/solenoid itself.
  16. Nah no syphoning dramas but I'd guess mines dif. to urs. Mine goes from pump to check valve right near 1st copper rail then nozzles threaded into the copper then another check valve at the other end of the rail to hose to another rail with nozzles to a check valve to a regulator then back to tank. 3 check valves all up
  17. Fair enuf but still yeh I <3 Bananas that hahaha
  18. Wat do u mean by off the shelf tune? You gotta regap your plugs when tuning time comes.. more boost blows em out. This cold weather will see a fair few cars overboosting. If its a generic tune at 12lbs I think your nuts lol
  19. Check valves dude.. Mine doesn't waste a drop http://bit.ly/10LFLqF
  20. Ill end up doing the same thing 1 day. Make sure you take pics as you go..
