It is possible the synchros could be munted in 2nd. Their not bomb proof. In saying that mines a bit notchy too. I pulled the carpet up from under the clutch peddle and cut the foam out for an extra 20mm of travel. Only ever use it for reverse sometimes though.. or if I cbf to push to the floor the whole way. I think the oil has a lot to do with the gear changes too. Found in the past with fresh oil it's a *beep* to change for a while... could be just me though
