  1. would be interesting to see how your 60footers are compared with all things equal.
  2. This thing is seriously gheyer than aids.. back on topic now
  3. Your right but I thought I'd give this ago anyway. It cost me a fraction over 100bux and it works quite well. Obviously I haven't needed to retune since the new edition either. I have fitted this just assist in keeping iat's down (which it does) yet not run into any dramas should I run out of water since it has not been tuned with it. A meth kit would be pretty cool but so would a 0.7 front comp cover or other bits and pieces when looking at $$$ vs gains. The water spray isn't exactly the right answer but its def. not the wrong answer either.
  4. This is without a spare wheel and 1/4 of a tank. With spare and full tank it looks dead level and sits 322 mm hub to guard at the back
  5. most likely loading it up on a cold motor..
  6. go the 4x sl's speak but might be best to speak to Pat at wholesale suspension (02) 9831 8825 he's got what you need bud. Just tell him what hub to guard you want and he'll point you in the right direction.
  7. ^^^ I think your right now you mention it.. It was the new 3+. He given them abit more clamp pressure or new design can't remember which 1 but my brothers ute tolerates 4th gear clutch dumps and plenty if track abuse. He's running 21lb in the mid down to 19.5lb on eflex goes pretty hard.
  8. Yeh I think mw did something with a bit more clamp with the 4 not so long ago. If they did I'd at least go that. In saying that the opt 3 has been tuff over the last 70000kms
  9. since you'll probly wanna go a bigger turbo 1 day go the MW opt.5
  10. not a f6 but you get the picture.. SL fronts and SSSSL rears 330mm up front and 325 rear (lower in the rear with a full tank)
  11. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!STOP SHOUTING!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eflex at 16L/100km @ 1.05-1.15$/L
  12. That's farkt dude. How us yours setup? What pump are you using, etc?
  13. Knoath u should get that fixed under warranty
  14. Does it stay rough the whole time or does it come good sometimes?
  15. You can spray paint where the sub frame meets the chassis if ya want for a reference.. depends how careful u r I guess. Can't comment on the next question as I usually have the car on the hoist and just lower the cradle down with a pallet and some chocks on an electric forklift. But pretty much like you said have the car on stands as high as possible and lower the cradle on a jack somewhat. Wouldn't be easy though manageable with 2 blokes.
  16. I had to replace my clutch slave cyl. not so long ago. New ones aren't too dear from mw just a pita to swap out. Def try the fluid 1st may have to top it up a few times but if the problem sticks more than likely your csc is weeping
  17. I would say give it a quick bleed but that's a *beep* of a job without the hose extension. Do you know if it has the bleeder hose? Usually comes with the clutch u bought. Has it been using clutch fluid or is it black and full of gunk in the little reservoir?
  18. If the auto was as tuff as the manual I'd consider going it but the manual is a lot of fun and possibly more engaging. If you can change quick enough you'll kill the autos thru the twisties anyway as they are so much more predictable.. The manuals are fairly bullet proof too + the new box sees a few more synchros too. I think it boils down to what kind of driver you want to be.
