  10. If it were me I would consider buying a car from pickles that's had a punt, take all you want/need then sell the rest. Can potentially come out of it even or in front especially if you sell your current box. Swapsee kind of thing can't be that hard
  11. Probly go the Fg better motor but has the smaller turbo

  14. Looks presicion is in the cards.. Suckiest part is I'm going to have to just tune it for below 400 even with the headroom as my clutch won't stand up to that... Have to get a opt 5. Decided to get a new f6 motor from ford and service my head + a bit of a port tidy up, I know the fella that owns the cylinder head shop pretty well. Arp head bolts, oil pump and some other bits.

  17. Hey Lads, So I've blown my motor and can get my hands on an Fg for a reasonable price. Pics of blown motor What exactly is involved with installing an Fg motor? I plan on retaining my intake and exhaust manifold as I'm up for a bit of a hit as I have to replace the turbo too (hence why I'm not going the extra mile and using a fully sick Fg intake manifold, but ya get that). I've read bits and pieces of stuff over time but I just need something to point me in the right direction so I can plan. I will be stripping down my other motor and seeing if I can begin a slow build while the Fg motor gets me around.
