  1. Unfortunately it's going to be a little while still b4 I can really test it all out. I'm still running a opt. 3 clutch so I think either that'll let slip or I'm going to need some stupidly sh*thouse tyres.
  2. Haha yeh! Removed a fair bit so far, thinking of knife edging that webbing there too. Sanded back everywhere I could get my lanky fingers at as well. Could not believe how rough they are from factory fmd it's bad. Pretty happy with how it went, now everything is smooth as The exh. comp. housing is the same just didn't get a pic of it b4 dropping it back to joes. Here's a couple of pics of the exh. Ports (not my handy wk)
  3. I used to dick around with those poofy Motorised push bikes for a while.. Got right into them actually haha I'd buy the little 2 stroke Chinese motors strip them down from brand new then clean up all the ports and match port everything while I was hiding out in the garage living with the mother in law lol. There was def. a difference between a cleaned up motor and an untouched one. To keep the same profile on the inside of that manifold I'm going to need to remove a fair bit of material to match the opening size of the gasket, same thing with the turbo housing. I'm fairly confident it will allow the exhaust air out of the manifold and into the turbo housing easier. Only 1 way to find out really.. Hopefully I"ll gain another 0.5kw from all my hard work :-/
  4. Plenty of meat to piss off Busy day with the die grinder tomorrow
  5. Didn't really do it myself but... Intake port http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/22/8ubeqe5y.jpg Oversize staino valves Didn't think to get a pic of the exhaust port but it looks mad!! Thanks to Tony at All Cylinder Heads! I'll post a pic of the Zorst side later
  6. Do you know if it was worth port matching to size up to the inbetween gasket (turbo to manifold) Wanting to know the "gap"
  7. Do you think the intercooler a would perform differently on the road to how they do in the dyno? Suprises me the temp went lower? Good news though
  8. Pretty sure there is a bit of a wrap on it in the aftermarket industries page on Facebook
  9. Fuel system go to sh*t or something 2nd time?
  10. Def. no expert but I believe atomic do a better oil pump setup as ours are known to go to poo, do the spigot bearing while your at it, maybe get your sump checked for being dead flat at joining surface to prevent oil leaks (machinist would probly do that), arp head bolts, you'll probly need to buy a full engine gasket kit which will have all your valve stem seals n that, up to you if you wanna change valves while your at it to the slightly oversized stainless steel type which are avail. (you probly got your money's worth out of the last ones anyway), ask the fella what porting will set you back on the head but be careful who you use maybe look at doing a timing chain kit too Atomic harmonic balancer (probly not worth worrying about) Get your injectors cleaned
  11. Crank is same same for NA to turbo I had the choice of 170,000 turbo crank and 150,000 NA crank. Chose the crank that had done the least amount of work
  12. Installed an aeromotive fuel pump for me... Errmmmm thanks...? In case the top one doesn't have sound (didn't when I tried) http://youtu.be/ieYrkMi9-fk
  13. Just grab a thin piece of ally from bunnings and a pair of tin snips + black paint. I just made a template out of a cereal box then traced that onto the ally. It bends pretty easy over a bench with a book or something of the like. Good temp. Solution until you can be bothered to buy one.
  14. ^^ hey mate random question but what intercooler are you running and what has been your experience with it?
  15. 6m of cable was about 100bux from memory though wk bought it Battery box about 35bux Lugs and battery clamps etc about another 60 bux Bend a bit of sheet ally from bunnings and you have a box. Took me and my brother about 2hrs done
  16. I bought my late model bf motor for 250bux. Same crank. Same cams I think too.. If not could steal the cams outta your dead motor and just fit slightly oversize stainless steel valves. I just through my old bottom end in the bin
  17. Cheers Tom f*ckin knew it aye, it's a painful experience. Hope you get your car back soon bud.
