    Wps Pace Car

G'day. Just a quick question. Just watching the Adelaide race. It appears the pace car has changed from the Audi of previous seasons, but I can't pick what it is. Anyone know? Matt.

    BP AND OPIMAX

It's funny you should mention that because I remember sticking Optimax in the Magna a couple of years back (don't laugh...it does get better mileage on the long trips) up in QLD at Warwick. Usually I'd get about 600-700kms out of a tank depending on whether I had the air con on or not, but this one time from this one station, I got about 1000kms from their Optimax. Thought that was great but the engine made a different noise, so thought it must've been running too lean so steered clear of it there ever since.
  5. Can also recommend Scott Wilesmith on Winchombe Crt. in Mitchell. Does a good job for an excellent price.
  6. Wouldn't have thought a big rise was in order considering how much new cars sales have been supported by discounting this year.
  7. Same with the Creative Nomad 3. Has the remote etc. Tis what I've got and am very happy with it.
  8. No way would I be wanting a Ford if I had $30M in the bank...unless it was a Ford GT from the USA. Something like a Maserati Quattroporte, or a modified Porsche GT2. Then I'd probably quit being an economist, and become an apprentice panel beater or mechanic and just work on cars. But then again, I believe lottery's a tax on people who are bad at math.

    Help Wanted

Maybe this will help warm things up... :banghead:  Hope you have as good a time in Boston as possible!

    No Turbo

Maybe you have a car like KITT in Knight Rider where the turbo boost must be activated..."Michael, I shall activate...the turbo boost"...NYAHHHHH!
  11. Plonky, Know what you mean. Although, I'd have to say I'd love to see your version of "diplomacy in the office", what with every office worker having a Glock on their right hip . As for socialising with people at work, I always say, "Geez, I've already spent 8 hrs with you!" As for society being in moral decay, I would recommend carrying a tube of Colgate around in the police cruiser. "Guaranteed to fight decay" they say. And at least when youe clients fire a fuscilade of expletives your way, they'll have a minty fresh breath!
  12. Ya think??? I just am not sure. Those factory 15" mags have a certain je n'est sais qua. Especially the ones where the spanner monkeys have rattle gunned the centres out of the wheel nuts. Look on the bright side, Ross. You still have 348 days to take the mickey out of me and my Magna (that sounds like a good song title...) :banghead:
  13. Great...just what I need. As if I wasn't paranoid before Big Brother is watching!!

    Confessions.

My only T related behaviour is the fact that I've covered our part of the office in FPV & Ford posters, and if I have a crap week at work I go over to the local Ford dealer and druel. Happy again afterwards!
  15. ... just keeping them is a problem, right? ...  Not at all! I take the Big Brother approach...nominate whoever annoys me the most for eviction. Keeps them on their toes
  16. 36 here...that pretty much sums me up. Although I don't find it hard to make friends...it's just that people annoy me
  17. I'm all for a ritual beating. Had me thinking that we've got wheel bandits in Ngunnawal.
  18. Scotty, I have high standards, what can I say? Because I'm a nice bloke, if I get the opportunity I'll follow her down Northbourne one morning and when we get to a speed camera, I'll speed up and get ya a photo
  19. A sign I once saw on the back of a Harley-Davidson sums it up. "Next door's cats make great hats!" If I remember correctly, the fellow's shirt said "If you can read this, the b**ch fell off a mile back." Besides, I don't like eating cat. Hate picking hair outta my teeth
  20. Yeah, I see her every now and then when I am coming to work down Northbourne Av. Not half bad at all (both car and chick).
  21. Dankman, How do you find the service at Hillis? My uncle works there selling Ford Credit, so the opportunity may arise for me to buy my XR there. Happy with the service dept?
  22. What about redheads in red cars I'm not the one with scratched up wheels buddy! What he said. As for why blondes cause less accidents, it's because they're too busy fiddling with the tilt steering to get more headroom than to actually drive

    Girls Wanted

Nah, you've gotta build it up, Kitty. Start with a couple of SMSs, a few shorter calls, then go long. However, most mobile phone warranties don't cover liquid damage.
  24. Fordboy1981, In your original post in this thread you said you were sick of carrying your freeloading mates around. Ute's don't stop that. Instead of carrying your freeloading mates around, you end up always helping them move, and carting all their sh!te to the tip. No matter what, your freeloading mates always find ways to be freeloading mates.

    Hows Your Right Arms

Yeah, that's what I do to line myself up when I hop into someone else's car. I'm quite surprised that people are feeling pains. I have found that the BA's interior is one of the most ergonomic I've driven. A billion times better than the Magna. It's impossible to drive more than about three or so hours before either feeling cramps on the calf muscles or a sore knee from it resting on the window winder.
