Gday guys, long time lurker, first time poster. I recently bought an BA Mk II XR6T, 6 speed manual, premium pack, with 150k on the clock. Only noticeable mods to the car were an F6 intercooler and F6 CAI snorkel fitted. Now, to the problem. I have noticed a white powdery dust/smoke that has been emmitting from the exhaust at high boost. Prior to this the only issue I had with the car was the plastic pipe that connects the intercooler return pipe to the engine would pop off under boost. I replaced a dodgy clamp with a new heavy duty one which fixed that problem. Being a long weekend I have to wait til Wednesday before I can take her to the mechanics for an inspection. After searching here and other Ford forums I'm still scratching my head as to what it might be. I'm kind of leaning towards the Cat convertor being shot but I have heard of gaskets on the turbo causing white smoke too? Any ideas/answers would be most appreciated.
