It's all a juggling act with trade ins. You either get more for your car trade in and less off the car you want to buy or the other way around. Ford offered me 12k for my BA mkII XR6T 6 speed manual if I bought a 32k FG XR6T. Car looks brand new apart from the tacho reading 170xxx. If you can get 2 or 3k below what a comparable one on Carsales.com is going for you are probably doing alright.

+1 for the XR floor mats. They look good and save your carpet Also have to agree on the tyres too. You don't wan't to be driving a Turbo on Melbourne roads with Triangles

Just make sure you have installed it the correct way. They should have an arrow that indicates which direction flow should be(should aim to the rear end of the car). A few years back I had an exhaust shop install an entire exhaust for my old VR SS and it packed up a few months in. Upon replacing the cat myself I noticed the bloke had installed the cat back to front.

+1 for replacing the middle mufflers with hotdogs. Gives the car a little more sound without the drone.
