  1. We have a nespresso machine in the lunch room at work. No one uses it much anymore. Started off as a novelty then most people went back to Nescaf鮠

    Tips?

Dandy Exhaust told me I didn't need a tune if I put a hi flow cat on my turbo.
  3. Next monthly meet in Doncaster at the Over 28s? Is that what you call the pancake parlour Tony?
  4. Interested.
  5. There are a few forum sponsors in Sydney you could give a call. It might work out to be something that they can diagnose for you and your local mechanic can fix. Let us know how you go either way as it's always good to post a follow up in case someone has the same problem and reads your thread.
  6. Bad luck Jet. Hope he had insurance mate.
  7. Mine was under warranty as I had bought the car from the dealership (second hand). They said that you have to remove the turbo to get to it but I think your best bet would be to take it somewhere that specialises in these cars. Might cost you a bit more short term but at least you will have peace of mind. What state are you in?
  8. Sounds like the same problem that I had when I first got my T. For me it was the diaphragm in the turbo actuator that had split causing it to overboost. Took about 4-5 visits to the Ford dealership before they were able to identify the problem. Their mechanic told me the car would hit limp mode because the extra boost was causing it to run lean. Not sure if the computer in the Falcon can do this but this is what he told me.

This is true. If you are prepared to work 12 hour shifts here, 7 days a week at a casual rate you will be on good coin too. Had tradesman mates working at Wonthaggi and the Regional Rail program that were in this situation. Although they had to move out there.

How long did it take for you to get on a truck Daz? Did you have to start from the bottom and work your way up?

Pookey I'm in the same boat. Worth applying though. Worst that can happen is your boss offers you a pay rise to stay where you are.

Serious all you need is a car licence? I'd like to get my foot in the door but haven't gone through the process of getting tickets or anything yet.
  21. Yeah it can be abused by the look of it just like the calling the EPA. My brother asked for a suspended sentence since he has a broken leg now and can't drive anyway but they are going ahead with the case. He opted for a solicitor because he doesn't want a record in case anything ever happens down the track and it catches up with him. He's had a couple of speeding fines prior to this but no hoon related issues. I was actually thinking that earlier Staino. Be hilarious to see voldermort canaried on the hwy and have to strip his car back to stock for a roadworthy. Personally I have nothing against Police officers. It's the Politicians that come up with these flawed ideas on how to stop it. I have been done speeding myself and lost my licence for an extended period of time as a result. My fault not the cops. Crushing cars is a political statement. It doesn't solve the problem or deter most people. How many nice cars have been crushed anyway?
  22. Not one shred of proof but his word against my brother's. This is apparently enough though since the Police bring the case to court and this bloke appears as their witness.
  23. Watching my brother's case with interest at the moment. He was dobbed in by some Joe Citizen for going fast around a corner. No burnout, no other witness, no police evidence, nothing. He is labelled guilty for hooning and must prove himself otherwise when it's his word against some random bloke. He is already up for over $2k in legal costs and the magistrate hasnt even heard his side of the story yet. Our state is becoming ridiculous.
  24. I agree on the speaking part but if they can't read then they probably shouldnt be getting their licence.
  25. Yeah there are too many articles on hoon drivers and not enough on those old fogeys that shouldn't have licences. While we are at it lets add in the stereotypical taxi drivers too who don't know there way around a car let alone the streets of melbourne. FPVPSI Skaifey tried to bring this up a few years ago on 60 minutes and was almost burnt at the stake. P Platers need better training and new cars that can protect them when they do %#$^ up on the roads
