Hi All, I've tried searching for an answer here for a few days so if I've missed a tread, my bad Okay situation is my doors wont lock. Always tells me back left door ajar.. Is frekn not. so ill be driving along and Nek Minut. **ding ding ding on the dash board. Locks pop up, and interior lights come on.. This happens on and off for the entire trip to work and back. Total of 80k so yes I feel like bailing and letting the car be on its own. Though early this week it came good for a couple days. then it rained.. And doors wont lock again.. Is the rain a coincident? All I know is it frekn sucks not haven't your car locked at night. Mind you this is not my beloved G6E turbo anymore or my ba turbo.. (thanks to the ex for claiming the value of the 2) Its my POS ba ghia What I have done so far Removed and replaced door actuator Removed and cleaned the loom form the B pillars (apparently water gets in there) Disconnected battery. removed icc and slapped the bem for kicks. What else can one do other then go to ford. Have them rape me and say. Sorry mate. Its not doing it but ill take your weekly wage for trying to find the fault! Whilst we all know the first year apprentice has looked at it n thought.. I love sausages.. walks off and filled someone's T56 with diff oil Any one else have a similar issue pleeaaassseeee help Thanks in advance Dave

Gday I have same colour G6ET as you. I also was in SPIRITING driving mode yesturday.. after a 3rd gear power skate then swinging into a few tight loops, I was lock to lock in loop mode.. 20 min later when I arived in my drive way.. BAM no power steering. and now it makes clicking/griniding sounds. when steering still. once you build up speed its easier to turn. It has its moments of hard to soft to normal steer feel..... What was your fix in the end mate?

I had a bit of a better look this morning with intake pipe off turbo. turbo shaft is in perfect condition spins freely and no movement in shaft. check over hoses and piping. still same thing. Basicly loud as Fek spooling up. But once on boost sounds like a normal fg (kinda supercharged)

I had a quick look at the piping clamps and what not. though Ill go ever it tommorow morning hose by hose see what that outcome brings me. bloody annoying sound it is.

G'day All. Just purchased my first fg after owning 2 ba xr6t's. My concern is the turbo makes an annoying howling noise off boost. howling gets louder the more revs you go (before boost) and howls down like a police siren when off the throttle. I havent really investigated much yet though when the turbo is shut off (car turned off) it spools down quietly like normal. What things should I check? I. eg, splits in hoses. loose hoses!? a tiny coyote in that pod looking thing at the turbo from throttle! I did notice this sound on my first ba when it was cold only. its got stat 3 month warranty but id like to sus it out before I take it in to get an lsd fitted next week incase I need to spend cash on it!
