  1. aweseome read, I was doing some research on this the other day.. also bored.. and gave up because there was too much random stuff on the internet, and couldnt find anything clear, looked again tonight and sure enough saw a link into xr6turbo forum, very nice write up mate I understand now! cheers
  2. this happened 2nd day of getting my typhoon, went out with the missus and her friends then me n her left early went for a drive and didnt notice till the next day had a stain in the middle of the back seat and a hole in the roof from a heel holes still there

Ive got a 05 BA Phoon which I bought at around 80000 now is at 97000 not sure if the filters still in there or not, but after replacing the factory clutch I really dont want anymore expenses for a while, not big ones like replacing a turbo anyway... for those that have removed and those that have left it in there what can u recomend? im thinking I definately need to take it out at least to replace and am leaning more towards leaving it out just from reading this thread
  4. Hey guys, got myself an 05 fpv BA F6 MkII, and just recently I've noticed that it is surging around 4000-5000rpm. As long as its under boost it gets there then the rpm will stay at that level for a second or two then keep going up, or it will even drop down a few hundred rpm then go up again. Anyone having the same problem or had it previously and know how to fix it??? Im thinking spark plugs or clutch slipping, but dont want to replace the clutch due to the price of a f6 clutch :/ spark plugs easy enough but didnt want to waste money on them if its not needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
