  1. Turbo won't cost much more than 2k to replace anyways!
  2. Should work mate, that's what I use. Just the adapter from apple.
  3. Tried a extremely long breaker bar? Silly question but are you turning it the right way?
  4. Yeah something like that. Rob at Monsta torque boosted the amount the alternator produces. Apparently you can adjust it with the flash tuner. Seems to have made a bit of a difference. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts
  5. Yeah mate I think so! It's got to be these stereos that are killing them aye, I had to replace another battery last week. If this one goes I'll buy a good dry cell and see how it goes
  6. Certainly is mate! Going to be building a engine in the next 2 months or so, then push it as hard as I can on the turbo it's got now, then run a GTX45 with twin gates and start pushing some real power through it!
  7. It dosnt look like much yet!
  8. Yeah mate built box and tailshaft all from Monsta Torque, cannot fault them.
  9. 128.57mph with a 60ft of 1.691
  10. 10.755 at the plex tonight, pretty happy with it for now Once the engine is built ill crank it right up with the little turbo and see what I can get!
  11. My ZF started to go at 400rwkw. Got it built and never have to worry about it again I'd be more worried about the tail shaft letting go.
  12. She is a bit slippery now! Yeah if all goes well I might race it this Wednesday, if I can be motivated to throw the slicks on etc. e85 was with 21psi boost and 98 was with 17psi
  13. Picked the car up last night after getting E85, made 474rwkw and touched up the tune on 98 which made 415rwkw. Pretty stoked about it apart from having to keep refueling out of jerry cans.
  14. There are constantly second hand ones coming up for sale, I sold my for $600 and it was pretty much brand new. Keep an eye out and you'll find one
  15. I had to replace mine and it wasn't expensive to fix, I think the whole unit was like $250 odd then I paid about $150 to get it fitted ( I already had the bumper and attachments off it)
  16. Gear box service isn't too expensive if you don't use the life guard oil. Off the top of my head I think I paid $400
  17. I used to drive a small tug on the Gladstone project, if you love politics and people who think they know everything it's the place to be!
  18. Process west with single 044. Might have sold it last night though I'll let you know if it falls through
  19. I'm selling one if your intrested mate
  20. Ship engines are calculated, they are completely different to any truck engine, for a start they are a slow speed so they max out at around 109rpm and make 80,000 odd hp in some. Others are diesel electric so they have 4-6 smaller generators powering electric thrusters so that's how they manage the calculate the power they make.
  21. Sucks but can't do anything about it! Hopefully it's small enough they can patch it from the inside or something
  22. that's the worst part! It has only done around 500km! I use it to commute but it also cops a bit of a hard ride (that's what its built for!) Ill call the bike shop tomorrow and see what they say, its still holding air so getting to the shop is no problem
  23. G'day guys, anyone on here know if your able to get a rear tyre of a R1 repaired. Got a screw smack bang in the middle of it!
