so I got up this morning at 5:00am and left home for Hobart at 5:30 and only just got home (9:50PM) so if this jibberish I speak is jibberish im sorry. just wanted to say that todays cruise was fantastic. would like to say thank you to @her xr6 turbo and @turbochooka for making the effort to attend. id like to voice another huge thank you to @her xr6 turbo for taking the time to suss out the map, set the route and for contacting members and making them aware of the day we (mostly she) had planned, I can't thank her enough. whilst on the topic on @her xr6 turbo and her cruise planning skills I can't say enough how important it is for all the guys/gals to get behind her with future cruises in the state. She needs to know who's keen for these kinds of events and people need to collaborate with her on areas which they think may be suitable for driving. anyways rant over. fantastic day. wake up everyone, your in the best state in the country for driving, get off the highway and have a crack

so are people not able to make it or is it just that there are minimal tassie members? what happened to all the guys who were active earlier on in the year? even if you are unable to make it just let us know on here so atleast her xr6 turbo knows who still is active and who to contact for future cruises.

yeah that's a fair call mate. I bought an 03 wrx sti early last year from vic and the previous owner had 20" chrome jestalt 2s and man were they s**t, had me stumped as to why someone would buy a car which is build to handle and make it not handle. wasn't long before it was sporting a set of rota gforce 18x9s. cheap wheels but for the price they are pretty good. light to.

dillz they look nice mate. why did you take them off? yeah will do dre, love jdm wheels. not a big fan of the price of them though hahah I guess you get what you pay for though ay.I will check them out though for sure thanks.

Henz is your ute the one with the 10.5 nice dish on the back? yeah im after nice flush fitment with as wide as I possibly can front and back (staggered) probably 19" with a lot of dish on the back and a nice amount on the front. I dunno if many people on the forum are into that stuff but ive always owned imports so the staggered fitment and massive dish is what I really like. my 6t is a ute too so I know it can be hard as camber cant be dialed in to fit wheels in guards

hey guys, im moving to melbourne from tassie at the end of the month and was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on the best wheel/tyre shops. best being somewhere that actually know what sizes I can fit what offsets widths and so on.. previous wheels I have bought ive ended up with wheels that I like the fitment of but don't love due to shops having absolutely no idea what so ever on what will and won't fit. cheers guys and I hope to catch up with you all when I move over.

hey evildaifu ill cruise with you guys provided I don't have to work. only bad thing about my new job is I might have to work if we are in the pits at an event or cars need to be finished for certain events. I will let you know as soon as I know.

btw if anyone sees this and thinks its to far these maps aren't set in stone so please if distance is a deciding factor feel free to post up some of your own ideas but take into account that we want to make the most of it so a small hour long trip prob isn't what we are after.

hey everyone im moving to melbourne on the 30th of jan and have decided to drive down to hobart to meet up with a forum member on the 27th of this month to check out some roads down south before I go. it would be awesome if everyone could come along and join in, could probs even have a bbq for lunch or something?. im not sure if many tassie people use this but if so show some interest and let me know. also if you have friends that might like to come who dont drive xr6t's they can come along just to make up numbers seeing as I highly doubt there will be more than 3 6t's in attendance. cheers lads/lass's
