  1. I wonder what the dark side will do to try and catch the Territory run away train?
  2. You would not expect it but it's documented that manual drivers get a lot of right hand injuries. Apparently the weight of the Winnie Reds in their shirt sleeve weighs the right arm down so far that it drags on the road
  3. ahahahhahaha Funniest comment ive seen. Usually this is one way of trying to justify the lazy man option (auto) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not funny at the end of a long day when you are stuck in traffic in a manual and have the schits with it
  4. I reckon if you are asking then you are probably not a die hard manual driver. Remember you can drive the autos in "manual" mode but can't do the oppposite
  5. Auctions are a bit different though. Maybe offering $24k is why you're still looking
  6. Glass' Guide thru Carpoint says $24k-$29k for a private sale 2003 and $23k-$27k trade, which allows for condition, k's etc. I would advertise privately for $28,900 and go from there As we all know changeover is the real guide to trade in success so trade in value depends on what sort of deal you're getting on the new one.

    Bought A Car...

Enjoy the car. Real useable low down torque too The autos used to wheelspin easily off the mark with no stalling. Should have LSD as I had a 93 with LSD.
  8. You could probably sell it again privately when the warranty runs out and get your money back
  9. F6 Tornado advertised by a dealer in Saturdays Brisbane paper for $35,990! Would there be a better bang for your $ unmodded car?
  10. Space, I previously used Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner with a foam hand applicator pad. It claims to "remove surface contamination, mild oxidation and light swirls" and seemed to do the job on a medium blue car. Don't know about black. A detailer told me recently too that light swirls can be under the clear coat from when it is polished between coats Good luck.
  11. as in green slimy stuff?

    Tapping Noise

Was the red stuff before or after the service? If it was after it looks like the grease you put between the brake pads and the plates to stop squeeling. Were you getting a squeel or a tapping sound? I think my problem has gone and could have been a stone between the rotor and the backing plates(I hope it was). Thanks for the help. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The red stuff was applied during the service by the dealership. They said they checked handbrake and other things and took a while to locate the brake noise and this did it. I was surprised that this fixed it as the noise was exactly as you descirbed - a tap...tap...tap when braking lightly at slow speed, like when travelling slow in traffic in an auto. It happened as the brakes were constantly being lightly applied, not only when they were first applied.
