Sounds like the the Diff bush is flogged out. Mine had torn the bolt out of the diff housing itself ,the only way to avoid the clunks was also very smooth clutch control. Im not sure if its the same on the these fords, but to test the propshaft just put it in gear with the hand brake on and look for uni play whilst turning the prop shaft by hand back and forth.

Yup my BA turbs takes about 30secs to 1min to come to a halt with a very quiet sound

Think I broke a CV. How do I tell if its the diff or the shaft? There seems to be a bit of shaft movement front to back (10mm) with the driver rear jacked up though everything looks intact.

yea I have been doin the pliers thing.Nothin worse than someone sayin "Pop the hood" and you gotta pull out the pliers, great impression of Ford quality . I was hoping maybe to take the cable through a longer route or something. Brenno, Could you detail the install proccess a little for me so I have some Idea where to start?
