Cheers Ralph , I may have to bleed the master cylinder as my top up man wasn't up to the task. Is there a simple way without having to remove the booster from the car? Or have I furked it...

Put new ferrodo stealth front pads in today. Took it for a test run and the pedal was real soft and I could push it to the floor if I wanted. Bled nearly a 1/2 lt of new brake fluid through . Hopefully bedding the pads in over this week sorts it out some. Any Ideas?

Pulled out fuel filter to check for blockage, looked good. Time for a new fuel pump as its sounding a little queer after running the tank almost empty last week. Walbro GSS340 in the mail.

check the hose to your master brake cylinder, make sure its connected properly and there is no damage to it.

washed with turtle wax and gave her a wax for the first time ever. Used Meguires gold class carnauba plus. Looks like one of those new cars that drives past me all the time now :sungum:

Tried a few tanks. leaned out up top under WOT. Other than that no real difference gone back to 98

Have bosch Platinums and they work fine, probably a waste of money but dont care. Stupid cheap only had 5 of the ones I went there to buy and I wasnt leaving without a full set.

Mine had a stainless gasket when I bought it. When I had the engine replaced it was gone. I asked about it and was told (not a ford dealer/mech) that the gasket expands and cools at a different rate to the turbo housing and manifold which lets the studs and nuts loosen off. I had lost the nuts twice before the gasket was on . Its been a year without the gasket and they have never come loose.

Cleaned out the inside of the falcon today. Its amazing how much stuff collects when you tow 4 kids around. Oh found my wallet (dont use it) and my wedding ring that's been gone for a couple of months. The missus will be pleased, glad I dont have to buy another now.

I would have had more of a go at the brakes but my tools are sh*thouse. Getting some bushes an stuff done in the next couple weeks so will have my mechanic pop em in while hes there
