Ha I never even got an appology from the guy. All he did to me after the audeal was that I will learn to trust the car over time. Just got off the phone to te dealer in beenleigh an they seem to be very helpfull. Yet no promise on the warranty. If there is no warranty apparently I'm looking at the cost of freight to and from Victoria and the cost of pulling the motor out. So fingers crossed they don't act like c:-(nts! I honestly wish I never bought one.

The car is currently at the 3rd dealership it has been to. And fpv head office had no further help for me other than arranging the car to go to another dealership. Q ford in springwood is one it's been to a dealer near the valley in Brisbane and is now at beenleigh. I have always brought the car to Brisbane to have it "fixed". Ford told me that they would not provide a car because I live to far away and would put to many k'S on the loan car.

So I thought I would fill everyone in on my horror story from the 3rd day into owning my brand new f6. So far my car has been into for 11 times for Rattles and water leaks in behind the dash and still are not fixed ford have told me it is to hard to find any rattle in a vehicle and they dont get paid to look for it. My air box was not hooked up to te intake pipe and due to working near 3 coal mines it filled all my intake with coal dust. Once I told ford about it they asked me to clean the pipes ad drop the car in. They cleaned the intercooler pipes and told me that is was fine an if it wasnt that I would have to wait for a problem to develope because once again they do not get paid to do warranty work. So my car over the next month developed a rattle in the front of the motor so I took the car back with 7500km now on it to show them the loud rattle and for some unknown reason while they had the car they couldn't find any rattle. Well my car is now 6 months old and has been in a ford workshop for the last few weeks having the motor pulled out because the motor failed. Now they are telling me I might have to pay for everything to be fixed because they are unsure of how my bog stock f6 has been driven. And that the motor could have been over revved. What I'm getting at is I have had my car in to ford over 14 times in a period of 6 months and now it's Dead and I'm looking at a very hefty bill. I do no recomened anyone buying one of these cars and the sad thing is I had 3 people at a specific ford Delership that I should never take my car there or buy one from there very sad I even had a manager tell me to f-off and take my car somewhere else all because I kicked up a fuss about my motor being dusted and blowing smoke.

This might be a silly question but is there a certain way to fold up the cover when it is removed so u can store it in the cab? If so anyone got some info?

Hi peeps proud to say I'm going to be the owner of a new f6 this coming Monday. So pumped for it. I have been searching to find what the best offset for wheels would be for the rear of my car but am not sure if the info I have been reading is right for the f6 ute. Can anyone shed some light? Also I have been told it is hard to get wheels for the car is this true? Thanks

23rd birthday purchased a brand spanking fg f6 build is finished should take delivery by this Monday coming from q ford at springwood.

Hey everyone chasing a bit of help I have done a few installs but not enough to want to pull apart my new car. My car has the luxury pack with the premium sound ad from what I have been reading is that it's quite sh*t so I'm gonna have a full instal done before I pick the car up where would anyone recommend to get it done? I have herd complete car sound is good? I want to have someone who cares about there work do it so I dot have any scratches or problems

Sometimes if the gain or signal is turned up to high on your amp you will get this feed back or bad earth but the way to figure it out is turn your gain down and your head unit down then check for the noise can be feedback

Hi pps new to the site Nd xr6t's just bought ordered a 2011 xr6t fg ute I was told by my dealer that if I get the car flash tuned that they can see his many times it's been flashed so it will void my warranty is this true? Coz I had a mate tell me he just puts the stocko tune back on his when he takes it for a service but from what I'm being told even if he dose do that they can still see it's been tuned. Any info would be awesome cheers!

I just purchased a nitro 2011 xr6t ute with luxury pack( leather, sports inserts, premium sound dual zone climate 19's) got floor matts tourno tow pack and car is auto for 33698 cheering coz I think the price started at 48 or 49 for the options I wanted but they are doing really good deals.
