Don't do it, I found out the hard way that the only way to get a new badge is to get a complete new steering wheel centre air-bag unit. Ford don't sell the badge separately. Ended up getting an metal FPV badge off Ebay. -
Just an update, couldn't stand the whining so bought a Truetrack LSD and had it fitted with Superpro comforts , got a diff service as well, it's now whisper quiet .

Hey Countiesman If your still looking try Northshore Mechanical repairs in Hornsby, they carry the Superpro comforts in stock as they do them all the time, you'll pay around $600. Cheers

I fitted an x force 3.5 mild steel cat back but found it droned so changed the rear muffler back to standard (but kept the twin pipes) and it now sounds perfect .....for me anyway, and no drone. All for about $800. Only problem now is that the middle muffler is lower than standard and can scrape.

Well I've had my Nolathane in for a few days and they are noisey. The Super pro are a softer compound so are quieter but probably not as durable. So I suppose it depends on how hard you drive your car as to what suits. Personally I would have preferred the Superpro.

Hi guys Just had a set of Nolathane diff bushs fitted and now find I have a wining noise under load, especially around 80 km, is this normal after getting the bushes replaced, and if so does the noise fade over time. If not I'll go back to the mechanic as I did want Super pro but was told these were better and I'd have no noise. Its a G6ET with Koni, s, king springs and whiteline sway bars fitted. Looking forward to some advise. Cheers

Drone got worse so brought it down to Carline @ mnt druitt and got the Xforce rear muffler cut off and replaced with my standard muffler, sounds nice, and no drone.( had them replace the oval tip with twins)

just got a 3.5 inch xforce cat back and she drones like crazy, called Xforce and they reckon about 2000klm to 3000 klm to carbon up but youve cheered me up with your story. Cheers

Sorry for the late respone Angel, havent been on for a while. Yep, changed shocks to Koni Reds and also installed king springs, all the suspension/diff bushes have been checked and/or replaced so all good in that department. I put it down to bad engineering by Ford and ill just have to live with it till I get my new Mustang in 2016... Sent from my GT-N5120 using Tapatalk 4

Ive tried new rotors (dba slotted t3) and pads (ebc reds) but doesn't seem to make any difference, shudder keels coming back. Sent from my GT-N5120 using Tapatalk 4

Back again, damn shudder, had the DBA T3 on the front and T2, s on the rear with new pads and only travelled around 5k. (City 70%, freeway 30%). Has anyone found the miracle cure yet........without spending 2k on Brembo, s?

Hi guys Bringing my G6E back to wholesale suspension Thursday to get my Koni shocks wound back half a turn as I was finding it a bit "crashy" over the crappy roads up my way. I really like a firm ride and was tossing up about getting Kings springs fitted. Can anyone who has Kings fitted let me know how they ride, Wholesale tell me they would be about 10 to 15% firmer, I'm after a firm ride but not banging over pumps etc. Thanks for any feedback. Well after my local Ford service dept told me it was a sticker so just peel it off.....I did It not a sticker, it's an Aluminium plate with tabs under the cover so need to be careful. I had a few stickers from eBay in black, blue and this carbon fibre look so stuck it on.

Hi Guys My 2010 G6ET steering wheel Ford badge has gone all sh*tty (the silver writing and surround have gone spotty) so I wanted to replace it.The local Ford spare parts shop told me they don't sell them as a spare so I bought a replacement from ebay but Ford told me the badge cant be changed over???? something to do with the airbag. Was he just having a go or is there some truth in there somewhere ? Has anyone changed there badge....and did the airbag blow? Keen to hear before I try. Cheers Mick

Ok, All good, a few wacks with a big hammer and finally got the rotor off. One thing had me stumped, what is the plate between the rotor and wheel for? I put it back on but not sure why as I cant see any reason why its there. Possibly to cover up the ugly rusty oem rotor but since the new DBA rotor is painted black I cant see any other reason. Could anyone let me know what its for? Cheers

I did have the hand brake off but the rotors wouldn't turn or budge, and I gave them a couple of good whacks with a bloody big hammer too. Ill try again on the weekend but ill make sure the wheel is free while their still on the car, should give me more leverage rather than playing around with the smaller rotor. well thanks for your quick replies, at least in know I'm on the right track.
